Doesn’t stream to Google TV as buffers constantly. Won’t download paid content as says ‘already downloaded’, so avoid purchasing anything. Worst product Google created - and that’s saying somethingHappyapp2013
Needs a mouse/touchpad feature
The app is perfect except for the lack of a mouse/touchpad feature. It already has a virtual keyboard feature which is great. All it needs is a mouse/touchpad feature to control a cursor on the Google tv and make it easier to use a web browser. If they added that I would give 5 starsPH3RO
Useless
Doesnt allow in app purchases on an iphone, therefore its a completely useless waste of time, and the notice about this is buried in the app, it just says ‘in app purchases not available’ so it makes you think you havent enabled something, it doesn’t say you cant buy this because we have supplied an app that can’t do it . Worked fine until last week…
This is definitely one of googles less polished applications. When it functions properly it’s useful despite being unintuitive and a bit clunky/laggy at times.
That being said as of about a week ago it stopped allowing me to select shows on my phone and send them to my TV even thought it shows connected at the bottom on top of that it no longer displays the remote icon in the tool tray and I have zero ability to control any tv functions from my phone.Show lessvr4spd
Why won’t the remote work??
The app itself is fine and mostly does its job except— the remote function doesn’t always work. It glitches in and out and sometimes the remote option is gone all together. If anyone knows how to fix this at all please let me know. The only thing that has helped thus far is constantly powering off my phone which is inconvenient. I know for a fact it is compatible, by the way, because it does work SOMETIMES.Show less@tla$

I understand there a project teams over at Google working on many different things but having another app that seems redundant in the Google universe just muddys it all.
There's no other point to this but to create a watchlist and view only the selected movies you have either purchased or have the suitable streaming services for.
I have 11 seperate Google apps on my phone which is really silly as something like the assistant or Google home could provide this app feature in the existing tabs.
It would be nice to be able to cast the Chromecast HD to my old Chromecast so it saves me having to by another more up to date Chromecast with an interface.
Please standardise a few things. It's getting way over the top with all these mish mash of settings and redundant features.

Remote Keeps Disappearing
I own two TCL televisions equipped with Google TV in my living space. Although I anticipated that this application would address my remote control concerns, regrettably, its usage has resulted in increased frustration. The virtual remotes frequently vanish during use, rendering me unable to control either television. Can’t Access Purchased Content
Some episodes of shows I’ve purchased are not available in this app, but are available in the web browser. The annoying thing is that I have to watch the matting episodes on my Mac because the universal links automatically open the app.

The service is a a scam!!
They take away the movies you buy and you have to re-purchase them again without notifying you.
