Wifi doesn't work????!!! What's the point?
I love this app for my mobile devices- easiest ands most reliable VPN by far. Recently when I connect to open wifi networks, it disconnects completely from wifi. At first I thought that particular network blocked VPN protocols but it has now happened on networks I've connected to before- hotels, restaurants, etc. I bought those VPN solely for the mobile app and it's totally worthless. What happened?! Used to be awesome.

Simple, Easy, Works
Use it on my 5S and my old iPad and it works with little to no performance degradation. Mainly waiting to get ahead of the ISPs being able to track and sell my data, etc. very easy to setup and very inexpensive.
Broke wifi
This happens prolly because the tracking stations don't like this item because for freely downloading an item like they can't sell your information, so I am pretty sure an attempt was made to sabotage this app. Currently not even the wifi on my computer works now, and I downloaded this for my iPhone....I wish the government would protect our right to privacy. Whoever responsible, simply trying to prevent the success of a good app, prolly only for financial gain, is what is occurring here. Get a new phone and number, get the vpn and get out wireshark. Y'all need to carefully analyze all incoming traffic

Generally positive!
When it works, it’s fantastic, with little noticeable large unless gaming. And it works 80% of the time. However, 20% is the time it has trouble connecting, requiring turning the VPN and/or WiFi/cell off and back on.
To get 5 stars (1 star each):
1) improve connection reliability (doesn’t have to be 100%, but up from 80%
2) add a widget to review status and toggle on/off

Keeps dropping on iPad
I have this on my iPad and iPhone. For some reason the VPN keeps dropping on my iPad but remains connected on my iPhone. The interface is nice indicating the protection it provides. Do not know how to test if it is in fact working.

Connection to Melbourne server dropping out
More times than I can count while connected to the Melbourne server it keeps dropping out.
I asked last year if they had any plans to add more Australian servers and was told we will pass your request on.
I asked the same question recently and was told exactly the same thing!
Australia is such a large country we need a server for each state and territory the distance between Melbourne and the Northern Territory is 3,751 km etc. I’m sure you get the idea.

Freedome VPN
I've been happy and reassured having Freedome VPN on my iPhone, my iPad and my MacBook Pro for several years now, no big issues, excepting the odd glitch and occasional difficulty or slowness getting connected, and no unwelcome internet intrusion. I think what I like most is being able to use public wi-fi without worrying about being hacked.. or am I still being naive? There are plenty of other VPN providers out there, but Freedome seems to work just fine.

Works well
This vpn does exactly what I want it to--it quietly sits in the background and works. I'm happy with its performance, and am very happy that my frequent use of airport and coffee shop wifi is not out in the clear for the world to read.
My only complaint is that once in a while, I get a screen from Google wanting me to prove I'm not a robot (I guess because lots of people are hitting Google from the same VPN exit point.)

Excellent
Very impressed with this service. VPN services can be glitchy and can interfere with apps, and I haven't experienced any issues at all since I began using this. Battery consumption isn't too bad; I have a lot of apps on my phone that use a lot of juice and the VPN hasn't seemed to make much of a difference there. The tracker feature is very informative. Some of my favorite and most-viewed sites are the biggest offenders here and it's been quite illuminating. All in all - great app and service. Will be renewing my subscription.
