Broke wifi on my iPhone
I cannot connect to wi-fi on my iPhone with Freedome installed. Just turning it off doesn't resolve the issue. I have to uninstall it. It used to work fine. The issue with wifi just happened in the last few days.
When I initially submitted this review I could still connect to wi-fi on my iPad with Freedome. About a week later, it started doing the same thing there - would not connect to wi-if with the app installed.
This is not a free app, a fix should be a priority!!!

FREEDOME = EPIC DIGITAL PRIVACY!!!
This is a must have! No body should spend another second on a mobile device or computer without it! Period! The "Tracking Attempt" MATRIX IS UNBELIEVABLE!!! This is a major leap in digital privacy!
A VPN that "feels" good
As a very technical user, I can happily say that there don't seem to be any obvious gotchas with this app, and nothing to indicate misconfigurations, or false claims.
I've tried several vendors in the past, all of which have issues, and become unusable over time - usually by simply not allowing a connection or acceptable speed every time I needed it. So far, no problems experienced with either connectivity or performance.
It's nice to see an app without false claims of what they can protect, such as acknowledging they can't see into TLS connections to monitor tracking. I know they can't do this and maintain privacy/no logging - and so do they!
I'll update the review if anything changes, but as of today, 5 stars are justified.

Excellent product
I've been using VPN technology since quite some time now. I don't want to mention other vendors here for any remarks, however, with most popular VPNs I've faced connection issues to most of the global servers. With Freedome I've had no connection issues or speed drops whatsoever. However I'd like to rate 1 star less for not having a server in India :) else would have been a 5 star from me!!

Good but no cigar
Yes F-Secure have developed an easy to use VPN but unfortunately the complete lack of timely technical support that actually resolved my technical issues means they receive 2 stars.
Every time I've asked them a technical question about any of there products they have just pointed me to there forum. Seriously how hard is it to answer a direct question?!
It's extremely difficult to get an actually strait answer most of the time.
If they dramatically improved there support including offering support via social media they would receive 4.5 stars if that was possible.
If the reason why they don't offer support over social media is because they have security concerns about offering support this way they should develop there own app with end to end encryption for live chat with there technical support team.
So yes they have produced a VPN that works with the best GUI (Graphical User Interface) out of the many VPN's I've tested and used but that is were it ends.

I travel with this service and is able to provide Internet services such as FaceTime where countries block VOIP services.

Amazingly, this app does what it says it does. Easy to setup (just follow the prompts) and bam, you're browsing from a different country.
