only app I have ever paid for
The thing I like about this app is that there is plenty of free material to learn. Thereβs like 50 hours of free material. This is generous and it was a good strategy because I just bought a lifetime subscription, even though Iβm only about 20% through the free stuff, to give back to them and support the development.
The app does a good job with the learning, although I think they could make some improvements, like listening to a story and then answering some questions about it. One needs to train their ear to Chinese instead of always being able to read the pinyin under it. Also I find the sections of the app not straightforward to navigate. You have to search around for the free stuff.

I paid for a lifetime membership. Benefits and progress gone. Iβve sent emails and no response. Buyer beware.

20 year old college student
Hi Iβm a 20 year old college student and this app is so nice and helpful, this app makes learning Chinese fun and a lot more easier to understand and read and to describe what each character means along with how to draw the characters. I wish they had an app like this when I was back in elementary school or middle school! I would have loved this app and this app is one of the most helpful learning Chinese apps Iβve come across so far! I would definitely recommend buying the lifetime one because it is so worth it! Especially since this app is designed so nicely and helpful! This makes understanding characters and how to draw them out a lot more fun and easier to understand!

My family all 109 are Chinese and I love this app because I live in the UK well I really don't need the app but I still use it because I will miss pronounce alot of words my English is still not as good to but it's best to know other languages especially when you go there like almost every single holiday k and you won't believe how long it took me to do this writing it's over an hour ok but love the app πΌπ¨π³ππ°β©β©β©β©β©10/10 thanks for reading Ω©(ΰ΄°Μα΄ΰ΄°Μ)α΅ΚΈα΅

There is sometimes an issue where the sound will not play. Makes you have to re-start the app.

My daughter is on school break and I was looking for a way to keep her Chinese learning going (at her request). She loves this app! And I love how it combines learning tones, words, phrases, writing and characters. Now how to download it twice so we can both use it!

Scam
I had to cancel my card as they wouldnβt stop taking money from my account after I cancelled my subscription. Took me a few months to catch on so lost around $150 to these guys. Tried emailing them but they wonβt reply. Whole process has been super annoying.
