Tricky~
Works with IOS but had to do a little bit of messing with it.
1. Plug into computer, update firmware and software.
2. Uninstall the app if you installed it, DO NOT reinstall it yet.
3. Remove PackTalk from your device via "Forget this Device"
4. Restore PackTalk to factory default settings via the advanced menu "tap the scroll bar/select twice"
5. Pair your mobile phone through the advanced menu from before, NOW it should prompt you to install the application on your mobile phone.
6. After installing the application from the prompt it should work.

App Does Not work with iPhone (Smart Pack)
The company boasts compatibility with iOS but that's not the truth. The devices connect via bluetooth, but that's it. The app does not function nor does it recognize the existing connection to the iPhone. Contacted Cardo to find out information, they were very vague in their response. Waiting to hear from the app developer now.EZAHP
Customer service it doesn't work w/ iPhone 7's
First off let me start with installing the Crado SMARTH on my RAPH 11 PRO was not hard and it looks great!! Very low profile compared to my friends Bluetooth systems!! The sounds quality is good both on the phone and listening to my GPS!!
Now why I gave this app a one star, I was looking forward to using the the remote app on my iPhone 7 that's mounted on my handlebars.
I'm pretty good with tech so I had no problem understating how to set things up using my computer, but when I got done thinking that everything done, when I open the app everything is going to be up and running there was nothing.
I called Cardo customer service and the guy educated me that the app doesn't work on iPhones and that the will be a software update released in the next COMING MONTHS!!Punkedupkid
Great App
Works great with the Packtalk system even with touch screen approved gloves on.
App is compatible with my IPhone 6 and I have my phone mounted in a case above my speedo on my 2016 Honda Africa Twin so I can make easy changes on the road.

False Advertising
This does not work with the Cardo Packtalk. Totally misleading. Don't pay that kind of money to a company that does not even answer customer support questions or concerns. I've tried to contact the 2 different ways but they don't even write back. Attorney general should get involved and Apple should not even have this app in their store.(Lefty)
Groundbreaking

App doesn't connect.
Bought a dual pack of PackTalks, charged fully and downloaded the latest firmware. The battery indicator shows up on my mobile device but the app does not connect. Confirmed in my Bluetooth settings that the unit is indeed connected. I'm disappointed to have paid a premium for this product knowing I could manipulate basic functions through the app. If Cardo Systems had a decent user manual this wouldn't be an issue however, they don't. It's near impossible to configure without knowing basic input functions. I'm also a little confused as to why I can't seem to get VOX to work during intercom or when running in DMC mode. I know this is a capable product, but not if the manual isn't apt.kcmoto

I am rewriting this as it turned out to be my mistake & so firstly a huge apology goes to cardo systems. I'd written that it worked well with iPhone 5 but the app doesn't connect with iPhone 6 ios 9 and it turned out that the G9x software needed an update (I read it on a review & so updated mine on their site) now it works great. Nice interface, good connection & great stuff.Libooce
Garbage
The thing is simple. The g9 I bought was 9 months old and the app isn't compatible. However, this affected our entire
Group as we all bought them. We all sold them on eBay and bought the SENA and can't be any happier. They work better and connect better. We have 37 bikes in our groups and most have passengers. SENA never misses a beat. They lost a lot of customers with this bs app and the lack of support. The updates don't fix the problems the original update caused. Cardo= garbageByte2002
Buggy, crashes the packtalk
App will say it's connected but when you open it, it will not connect. Also, the packtalk will lock up, (will not access music, radio, intercom or even turn off) once you turn the Bluetooth on your phone off to disconnect the app the packtalk will then operate correctly.Big-D_IR
