Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. I am sorry to hear that your device appears to be experiencing an issue, and would love to help make your review 5 stars. I am wondering if you are perhaps using an Apple Watch and the two devices are not talking correctly, or if this is some other issue. Please would you reach out to me via the Send Feedback option on the Me screen in the app, or reach out to me at support@stepwiseapp.com and I will be sure to work through this with you. Thanks.
  • Crashes on iwatch

Doesn’t work on Apple iwatch anymore. Just crashes.

    Developer Response

Hi, I am sorry that you are experiencing issues with your Apple Watch. I expect that there is an issue with watchOS that likely needs a reboot. Please press and hold the Digital Crown and the side button on your watch until the screen goes blank and then the Apple logo appears, then release. Allow your watch to start, and give it 5 minutes or so to settle and then retry. If this doesn’t resolve your issue, then please reach out to me via the contact option in the iPhone app (Me sceeen), or at support@stepwiseapp.com and refer to this message, and I’ll be sure to help you. Thanks.
  • Amazing

I have been using this over the corse of two weeks now, I love it, I use to use the health widget on my phone, you had to add the calories on that one, I love this, it’s so clear and accurate, and also it doesn’t alter steps when you move your phone, just a notch, like the last one I had. Very well done 👍 and the calories get added every time you move.

  • Stepwise

Love this app! I end up making sure my phone goes with me everywhere as I don’t want to miss a step. I am surprised by the amount I walk during my normal day. When I do go for my long walks it is great to have as I notice that some of the areas I walk are countable as stairs. Just one wish...the company would make this app available to androids as well. I talk about this app to so many people!

  • Extremely happy!!

I love this app! Not only is it a great app, but I had a couple minor issues and had to contact tech support twice. Both times I received almost immediate responses with accurate and complete resolution! Although I am completely happy with the free version, I am purchasing the full version to support this app!

  • A good app

    Gives various readouts
  • Watch Complication

It’s a really nice app. Nice clean interface and I like the step counters visible on the watch face. However that seems intermittent, when you have the Complication in the middle of the Watch day on Modular you get the step counts. However when it’s a corner Complication, although the preview shows you get a small step count you only actually get a small progress circle.

Am I missing a setting or something?

Hi, Thanks for using Stepwise and for your feedback. There are different complications for different positions on watch faces. None of the small corner complications have a step count inside as there is not room to do so. Depending on which face you use, you will get a progress circle that is either coloured based on progress, or is the same colour as the watch face text. On a watch face with a single complication area across the bottom as opposed to 2 in the corners, you will see a step count and distance. If you need more assistance, please reach out via the contact option in the app, referring to this review, and I will be happy to assist.
  • Good accurate app

Works nicely, it is accurate, and easy to understand. I use it everyday, it makes me aware of my general activity from day to day. When I check and my activity is low, I can easily add a mile or two on my lunch hour or after work.
It really does make a difference.
  • Best pedometer ever!

This is such an easy app to use. Once you’ve entered your height and weight and preference for miles or kms , you never have to do anything except slip it into your pocket. Really excellent!
  • Not Again

Again, I walked about 3 miles and it recorded about 1/2 mile and maybe in the neighborhood of 1000 steps. This has happened a few times before. I have had this app for quite a while.
