2023 Connected: Cant Connect Since March 2021!….
June 2023: finally got my Service Tech to look at the firmware on the Genset after 2 1/2 years and after the update it’s working like a charm again. This is such an important feature to me as I can always see at a glance how my setup is doing especially in bad weather situations.
The app used to work just fine. Now every time I open the darn thing it’s logged me out. It doesn’t ask iOS to save the a password and I hadn’t written the pw down. Had to redo password every time I forgot. Now it hasn’t let me connect since March of 2021. I just had a service tech at the house too and they said ‘Everything is fine, must be the app.’ That’s it. No recommendation, no service help, no nothing. Ridiculously frustrating!!!! This was one of the main reasons I paid for the networking ability of this generator and now it’s useless. ;(

Kohler vs Generac
Very outdated and limited usage compared to what Generac is offering. Have an issue with the app and reached out to Feedback team and still waiting for a resolution after a week. Seems like they are overloaded with work and haven’t been able to resolve my issue. Overall happy with my generator, but very extremely disappointed on the app. Perhaps they will take the time to redesign the app one day or work better on explaining their app for better customer usage/support.

Impossible to stop
The apps doesn’t not allows to stop the generator! I bought a kolher for that ! The apps is useless

I purchased a standby Gen. I am trying to setup OnCue and the OnCue server is not available

Title says it all - OnCue seems to hang. Happy with generator but app not functional
Needed a generator backup unit for medical reasons
My wife and I depend on are medical devices and without electricity they would not work and my wife would not survive! The Kohler generator works flawlessly for almost 2 years. The neighbors were complaining last month that they lost power for hours when I didn’t even know there was a power outage, they were not happy with me but they too could get a backup generator.
