Solid, reliable
I was never as opposed to iOS mail as some others— seemed fine to me, even great, for my needs. Except that the ML became so pushy— often electing to break rather than give up on what it had decided I want to see on open: a a blank screen if had deleted the whole thread in a vain attempt to end the game, or else an actually incessant replication of a prominent aspect of my email habits from recent days (in spite of my attemtps to escape them, for example it would follow threads into the trash to fire them up on open), and in general constantly seeking to give me what I no longer wanted.
I tried several remedies, including re-installs, log out and ins, & other various ostensibly efficacious reset actions, all to no avail— and eventually found Preside.
Haven’t looked back. Glad it all happened, I feel like I can stick with this one. I know this is like a grudge letter to ios mail— but it’s intended more as a background to why the frankness of Preside appeals to me so much.

A comprehensive, complete app
I finally gave up on Apple Mail's search capabilities. Time and time again, Apple Mail would return no results for emails I *knew* existed in my archive.
Preside gives me the ability to *completely* sync my accounts, store all of my messages locally, and search everything.
As of that weren't enough, it is incredibly customizable. Smart folders, button placement, gestures, fine control over list and message view, even colors. It's a weird looking app, but it more than makes up for it in functionality. If email is important to you, this is a fantastic app.Show lessCheesekeeper

Powerful and well supported
I have been using this app for years. It readily beats all the apps I have tried on the desktop or iPhone. With its vast array of features, it offers many approaches one can use to deal quickly with the deluge of emails we all get.

Do not waste your time trying apps for free that will not get anywhere close to how good this app is. As they say nothing is free in life!! The after sales service is absolutely superb too. Rich replies promptly to any issues, which are very few. Also listens and welcomes any additional feature requests. I would give this app a SIX STAR if that was available.
What can I say, except that I have used this app now for over 4 years or more, and is absolutely a superb app. I have many folders and sub folders on my PC, using Microsoft office exchange in outlook. This is where I save many important emails, but for a long time could not find an app that could offer the same functionality that this app offers. The native iPhone app is useless and does not offer any business functionality that I need. The closest may have been the blackberry phone, and that was a long time ago, with no real alternative option since!! You can access saved emails in folders, sub folders, expand, collapse, and create new folder, and sub folders and save, copy, delete and most of the things you can do with outlook!! WOW!! Want to Use, but not Google sec Compatible
I want to try the app, but I’m caught in a loop trying to setup a Google Workspace email (of which I have 10) and after going through google’s annoying security verification,Chrome to smartlock, I’m never taken back to Preside even if I’ve successfully allowed it via Google….so I’m caught in a loop. Preside isn’t aware that Google provided an access token.
I can’t lower my security just to use an email app, I don’t have these issues with any other email app.Show lessgroove_guru
