I HATE this app!

Why did you get rid of the print edition mode app?! This app is so touchy. The screen skips around so easily. The eNewspaper doesn’t let me read the paper like the print edition app did. Considering how often we get stuck reading the electronic version since our paper delivery is so inconsistent, I can definitely see the day when it’s more trouble to try to read the Enquirer than it’s worth. We’ve been subscribers since 1971….but I’m not sure how much longer we’ll last.

Great Journalists

The Cincinnati Enquirer is blessed to have such outstanding and dedicated journalists when the industry is going through major transformative changes. Thank all of you for your high-quality work.

Response from developer

We are incredibly lucky. Our reporting team is fantastic. Thank you for reading and for the feedback!

No online Paper

We have a paid subscription and it’s Saturday. No hard copy paper on Saturdays. You tell us to read the online copy. Guess what, we are not able to sign it today. You did not inform us that your new policy is no service on Saturday. Greatly disappointed in your customer service.

News, Interrupted

This app could be great, but I wouldn’t know because it’s really hard to actually use it without first having a newsletter prompt pop-up that I have to decline. This is followed by an offer to subscribe for $.99 for 3 which would be a great offer, except that I AM ALREADY A SUBSCRIBER!!!!! In fact, this is DAY TWO of my one year subscription and the fact that I have to decline this offer is simply asinine. I’m only paying $1.06/month and I feel like I overpaid for this lousy experience. Once you get an actual news article, there is a steady stream of ads and surveys o the extent that there seems to be a 1:1 ratio of paragraph to ads/surveys.

I would pay $4 or $5/month for a better experience, but I am seriously so disgusted I’m considering canceling my $1/month subscription. I can’t even believe it, but I simply can’t get to the news on this app without the deluge of interruptions. I have to wonder if anyone from Gannett has actually used this app and compared it to other news apps???

Don’t Bother Paying

I reluctantly paid for the premium subscription to the app, thinking I would be able to manage the notifications. Even if you pay, you still can’t manage notifications and prevent subscriber only notifications from coming through. They put out a lot!

Login issues

Whenever i log into the app it does not hold the login and tells me i have to log in again and still does not work for my subscription. So cannot read the subscribers only stories online via the app. I have to go to the website and read them making the app useless 😡

Worst customer service worst customer experience

Every so often it just kicks me out no notice. The account history gives no account history. It is impossible for me to tell that I’ve ever even had an account. No notification nothing. When I asked him about it, I get an answer to a question I didn’t even ask and it goes around and around and around. Extremely frustrating.

Horrible Service

Can’t ever log in and never pay the bill

It's okay

Has some local stories that matter but overall it obviously leans to the left and provides a slanted point of view.

Great news site

I love it for the local happenings and news that are hard to find nowadays with everything geared towards national news. Highly recommended.
