Very Limited Demo
This is, apparently, nothing more than an advertisement or a very limited demo. Where are all the features? The app doesn’t work as advertised. The only thing that works is the compass. Everything is ala carte by subscription. Based on my experience and other reviews, I don’t trust the developer enough to fork out big bucks for subscriptions.Show lessGeo_

Hi, We are sorry to hear you are having problems using SeaNav's features. SeaNav is free to install and is a fully functional Marine Navigation app, with route plotting, tracking and sharing, active waypoints, cross track error, NMEA support for wind and AIS etc, tides and weather. The IAP extras are for things that cost us money too, Marine Charts, internet AIS, dynamic weather etc. There is a user-guide in the app and on-line here http://seanav.net/help.html that might help get you going. There is also a demo mode in the app which lets you experience the additional IAP features for free as well before you buy. Hi, sorry to hear you are having problems with the charts downloading on your iPad. I note that they have downloaded ok on your iPhone. This means it is not an issue with SeaNav, it is an iTunes App Store issue. Purchases on one device can sometimes get "Stuck" and not appear on your other devices. Can you please try tapping "Restore purchases" at the bottom of SeaNav/Settings on your iPad to see if that works? If not can you please check your iTunes subscription settings on your iPad for SeaNav to check it the charts are showing as purchased? Had this installed for a while and I’m now beginning to use it. Integrates well with my Wind Instrument. The building of routes and importing waypoints stumped me but after reading the Help document.

Excellent nav tool
Best app for marine navigation bar none! In-app purchases are also well priced and actually increase functionality and usefulness. Must buy for boaters, especially big water.Online Lerner

By far, the best sail nav app available
Of all the apps I've tried in this genre, this is the very best one and well worth the $$. The vector maps are amazing in detail, easy to read and super fast even on older iOS devices (aka iPhone 4). Great in--route tracking and tracing. Amazing HUD. Fabulous for nighttime navigation.
Active captain integration is terrific as well.
My only wishes would we course integration with nmea 2000 devices (autopilot, etc). as well as easy export import of route plans between iOS devices.Show lessiPhoneGuy321
