Human not hamster

I really liked this app! It is well paced for my treadmill walk and makes it much easier! I didn’t feel like a hamster on a wheel. I felt like a human being enjoying the beauty of the world in which we live! ♥️ I stopped using it because the trails were always changing. I like a full trail without interruption. But the developers helped me get back in after some months of not using and assure me there are “over 150 continuous trails.” —-I’m interested to buy access to them. —don’t know how to tell which ones these are.—
I really, really like how the product is sold, too at one’s own pace, buying a new trail as one desires, to use as one can.

Thank you very much for being my customer and for your 5-star review. All Treadmill Trails videos are made by and for humans in the most beautiful places humans can walk and run. For trail video selection, the best advice I can give: take 30 seconds to watch the Preview for each trail that looks interesting to you. I try to make them very representative so you'll know what to expect. Other than that, it's only the "greatest hits"-type trail videos that actually hop around from one location to very different ones. For example, "America's Best: The National Parks" includes trails in Yosemite, Grand Canyon, Bryce, Zion, Glacier and Arches. Of course, most of the actual trails I shoot are quite long so there will always be edits; I choose to include the most scenic and interesting sections of each of those trails. Thanks again. And Happy trails!

Human not hamster

I wish I could use this app again. I don’t use iTunes so I don’t know what email I should use. I’m blocked out of it

I stopped using it because the trails were always changing. I like a full trail without interruption. It jumps onto different trails, which is distracting and disorienting to me.
But the main thing I feel bad about is I cant get into the app because I didn’t use it for 30 days. :-( Now it’s useless for me, because I can’t remember the email I used.

Update: Alpinelaurel, please email me: ds@bettercheaperslower.com. We'll get you logged in. About the trails: there are some "Greatest Hits" trails videos that include sections of several different trails. For example, "America's Best: The National Parks" includes trails in Yosemite, Grand Canyon, Bryce, Zion, Glacier and Arches. But there are more than 150 Treadmill Trails videos that take you along a single trail, from trailhead to finish. Now, please, please email me so we can get you back on the trails. Thank you very much for being my customer and for your 5-star review. All Treadmill Trails videos are made by and for humans in the most beautiful places humans can walk and run. Happy trails!

Great App, Great Customer Service

I love working out using this app. It takes me all over the world without leaving my living room.

Due to updates I had an issue with my videos connecting to the app. I sent an email to the developer, and almost immediately I received a response with instructions on how to rectify the problem. Everything is back on track and all is well! Fast and friendly customer service all the way!

I love this app and totally recommend it to anyone who enjoys looking at beautiful scenery while using their treadmill!

Helps make every day on the treadmill fun

This is exactly what I was looking for for my treadmill workouts. Just mount up the iPad and away you go. The individual videos are very reasonably priced and I guarantee you will purchase several. Especially like the mountain trails, allowing you to crank up slope. Just wish that there were more of them. Maybe in the future the developer could add a map at the end, showing the trail location and name on a map. Maybe motivate the user to take the video into a real time tour out of doors. Great app. Can’t wait for more remote location videos

Thank you very much for being my customer and for your 5-star review. To see a lot of mountain trails, go to the Trail Store tab, then tap the three dots in the upper right corner to select a "filter". Try "mountain" or "incline trailing". Try "In the Woods" for remote. I almost always identify the location and trail name during the first few seconds of the narration, but if you have specific questions about any of the trails, don't hesitate to email me: ds@bettercheaperslower.com. Thanks again and happy trails!

Sampler

Just did a sample but I liked it. I actually like the commentary by the narrator. Hopefully it stays as entertaining as this!!

Response from developer

Thanks for trying the Free Sampler and delighted you liked it and its narration. They’re ALL spectacular and entertaining. When you have a moment, please tell me what would make your review a 5-star: ds@bettercheaperslower.com. Thanks!

Amazing trails and great customer service!

The variety of trail locations offered on this app is amazing! I love to travel and see new places and these trails take me places I have never visited. The trail narration and music is very good. I learn a little bit about where I am walking and the music keeps me motivated. I know I will have a good day when I start my morning with a walk along the beach, or seeing beautiful waterfalls or hiking a mountain pass!

The customer service is also amazing! I was having problems with my chrome cast and the problem was fixed very quickly! I am back walking my trails on the big screen! Thank you! Very much appreciated! Looking forward to more trails, maybe some from Canada? (my home)

Thank you very much for being my customer and for your 5-star review. I'm delighted you're back on the big screen. And I hope to make it back soon to some of my favorite trails in the Canadian Rockies; I'll bring my cameras this time :) Meanwhile, there are a few TT videos from Glacier National Park on the U.S. side of the border.

Virtual to Real

Flying from England next week to recreate some of my Trails in reality!
Love the app but just noticed my Trails are maxing out my Google Photos Storage and don’t want to be put off buying more.
Also would like a search to be able to find Sunny Trails or Winter Ones.
Didn’t realise there was a filter on searching and found the list very confusing for the first few weeks

Thank you very much for being my customer and for your 5-star review. I think it's great you'll soon be enjoying the real thing! If you store some of your videos in your iOS device's local memory, you can always "Delete" videos and later "Restore" them at no cost - so you can think about your purchased trail videos as a rotating collection. After you delete, be sure to delete again from the Photos>Recently Deleted album; if you don't, iOS will retain them for 29 days. As for sunny vs. winter, I shoot nearly all the videos on sunny, blue-sky days. The only exception: "Beach on the North Sea: the Winter Run". [I go for "truth in advertising" with the titles :)] Similarly, you'll find snow on the ground in "Central Park In The Snow", "Cool Alpine Wonderland", "Downhill Skiing" and "Timpanogos in Bright White". And you'll get it all in "Central Park: 4 Seasons in 60 Minutes". There are now more than 150 trail videos and I understand that's a lot to scroll through. I hope the 35 categories in the filter (the 3 dots icon in the upper right corner of the Trail Store) makes the search easier. Thanks to you, I realize there is no "snow" category; I'll add this soon. Thanks very much again and have a great time on the trails in the States!

Treadmill Trails Audio is flexible and easy to control

Several audio options allow you to control content, presence and blend, so you can maintain your pace, be informed about site history, geographical features, and the trail guide’s personal experience running the trail. You control whether you use onboard audio, use your own music, or forgo audio altogether. Trail guide narrative can be bypassed. When foregoing narrative, you can choose between several different tunes. To implement multiple tunes, you are required to make a one-time purchase for each additional tune at a nominal price. Onboard audio music Is performed by drums and bass, which suits my personal taste nicely. Attributes of our planet’s evolution are described as fact, rather than theory, a description which I might personally question. But with most users, this distinction doesn’t arise.
