  • Game changer

    I don’t normally write reviews for apps but I’ve got to share how great Aaptiv is. I’ve always been a bit lost I the gym, I’ll spend ten minutes on a couple of machines, wander about and then leave. I find classes really motivating but can’t always commit to specific times.
    Aaptiv have revolutionised my visits to the gym. I work harder and for longer than I thought I was capable of, I enjoy myself more than I thought and am getting fitter and stronger week on week
    The online community is also really motivating and helpful - if that’s your thing

  • Great for those travelling

    I have recently been moved to China for work - as I'm unsure about running outside I thought I'd use the hotel gym. I HATE the monotony of gyms but then I downloaded Aaptive and it's changed my workouts up and challenges me (even more than running on the road). The intervals and hill climb workouts are helping me increase my speed and the ecliptic workouts are going on days I want to get my joints a rest from running.

    Having said all of this I was in LA earlier this year - I love their style of workout but not sure that everyone will.

  • Makes it so easy to spin at home!

    I bought an indoor bike a few months ago. I tried to do two "classes" on my own based on what I knew from taking indoor cycling classes for years in NYC. It just didn't work... SO when I discovered Aaptiv (by seeing billboards all over NYC) I decided it would be the perfect time to try it. I still have to get up or get home to do my workouts, but Aaptiv makes it so easy! I love that I can pick a workout based on time. When I wake up and only have 25 mins until I need to be in the shower the 20-22 min workouts make feel great! I really do love Aaptiv. I have also tried the yoga class which was great! Try it out. I highly recommend! Also, their design and whole experience is great. I started an 18 min class and then realized I'd only be getting about 15 mins of actual workout so I ended the class and it immediately popped up options that were the same level just in the 20 min range - it was perfect! And allowed me not to have to search further in an early morning fog!

  • Amazing

    I've been a gym rat for many years and a fitness instructor on and off during this time as well, and I never thought I'd get a great workout from an app. This app helped me regain my fitness and lose weight after I had fallen off the fitness and health wagon for a while. It was the perfect thing to allow me to start slow but still get a challenge. I'm now back to exercising at least 4-5 days per week, am 15 pounds lighter (with improved eating also of course), and look forward to my workout for the day. I have an extremely busy work schedule and have a crappy commute, so I love the flexibility this app affords me. If I feel like my body needs a break but I still want 30 minutes of something to get me sweating, 30 minutes of yoga with Amanda Murdock delivers. I love the challenge of the outpost running and high intensity interval training from Amanda, Mike, and Sultan. The playlists are awesome as well. Can't believe the value you get for the monthly fee. BEST APP EVER.

  • Amazing app!

    Today was my first time using this app and as I haven't trained in a while I decided to take it slow so I took only 3 classes (stretching, and whole body strength workout, and finishing up stretch) they were really good and voices of instructors really helped me to keep going and pushing through even though sometimes I felt like giving up already 😂😂

    Only the tiny minus point for me was that sometimes I couldn't hear the instructions clearly so I had to rewind a couple of times. But then again maybe that's because English is not my native tongue 😊
    Anyway, after 7 days of free trial period runs out, I'm going to carry on working out with this app. After all £7 or £8 monthly is really nothing comparing to those gym memberships 💁🏼🙆🏽

    Good App but is not ideal for metric countries. All measurements or speed on treadmill is on miles or mph.
    This becomes a real issue when you are using kph measured machines.
  • This App is a Scam!!

    I downloaded the app months ago and received an email from Self Magazine that they were doing a 1 month fitness challenge. The challenge let you sign up for 1 month free. I just got a charge on my visa as I was somehow subscribed to the app without knowing. Contacted customer service and they would not give me a refund because "their payment processor and accounting system doesn't support it" which is total BS. Any app that signs you up for subscriptions without knowing is a scam! There's no place on the app either that says your subscribed. It was also charged in US funds on my credit card which increased the price! Total scam, stay far away!! Shame on you people!!!!!

  • Feeling it

    I'm new to exercising and this is a great way to keep me going honestly. I've tried before tons of times and just given up after 5-10 minutes. Playlists were good and really enjoying the pep!
  • Good Variety

    For someone who gets bored doing the same exercises at the gym, this app is great! I use it in my weekly routines as well as fitness classes and trainer assigned weight exercises.
