  • Great app for 5/3/1

Great app! Simple! Easy to use, keeping everything neat and organized and lets you bump up to the next cycle easy enough. Nothing gets in the way and that’s what I wanted. No sales pitches for other programs or needless fluff. Put in your maxes and you’re good to go! I wish I would’ve found this one first.

  • Best 5/3/1 Calculator

This app doesn’t track your workouts; however, it’s great to track your 5/3/1 percentages! If that isn’t the best free calculator, there is also a 1RM calculator as well.

This is a great companion to your main lifting logs. Very convenient and free!
  • Nice app with a few downsides

Looks like a nice simple app for calculating your 531 workouts. The only downside is I was hoping for a option to round the weights to the nearest 5lbs. Say I have to lift 198lbs, should I use 195 or 200? Also I was hoping to have the boring but big assistant templates. All and all still a easy and useful app

  • Kilos is a joke

Im US military overseas. Everything is in kilos here but the app refuses to hold all the weight in kilos, so every time i change a song or any leaving of the screen everything switches to pounds and is obviously distorted because of the difference between the two. Poor programming.
  • Maryland

App is great only recommendation would be a place to log your actual weight and reps.
  • Great theory - calculations are wrong

This app is fantastic if you're doing the 531 program. The calculator tool is great bc before this program, it's rare in my workouts I'd use 2.5's, etc. This is my favorite format for 531 and the plate calculator is great. I feel this format should be presented to Jim Wendler and be branded. Other features like adding results and comparing goals vs actual a would be useful. I would like to see this app get better and to change the spelling of "SKWAAAATS" to Squats.

  • 5/3/1 tool

Easy to use and it does what it should which is outline your 5/3/1 program as any excel spread sheet will do, except this has the added benefit of being a bit more accessible/simple and less excel spreadsheet-like.
  • Does what is expected

Great app. Separates all four different workouts, calculates one rep maxes, and is easy to use. No bells and whistles but who needs them.
  • Very helpful!

I love that this app shows you which weights to use. Makes using 5/3/1 very simple.
  • Pretty good

I'm a big fan of 5/3/1, and I was pretty happy to see an app finally! It was a little confusing at first--a good page of directions would improve the value the significantly, at least at first.
I would like to see improvement in the "assistance work" area--first, the ability to actually specify what exercise I'm doing, then the ability to track a full a workout (here are my sets of Deadlift, my sets of pull-ups, and my sets of shrugs, performed on this date).
As it is, while this can replace a spreadsheet program (or just a bit of math in your head), you'll still have to keep a separate journal.
