Disappointing
I'm sure there is a large and loyal following of the franchise of GLWG and GBWG, I would've thought that by now we would have an option that eliminates telling us how to play every time. Strangely, the ability to get rid of zoom in animations is no longer here. Annoying watching every shot take as long as it does now. Graphics seem to have a bit more depth and detail but seem darker for some reason. Don't see myself paying for any future instalments if it's like this one. Shame... The first sequel I've ever seen that took away features
The first version is much better. They took away a lot of the strategy by removing features they already had. I've never seen a game do that and I've been playing since pong.
The biggest thing that is gone is the fog of war. This makes it easier to plan but totally takes away surprises. Next, you can't run out of fuel or ammo. That means less planning, less strategy. And then whole units are gone too. No more scout or engineer. This just takes away a lot of the challenge and fun. I'm hoping they might add them back as purchases, that would renew the whole game. It doesn't seem like that would be hard since they already had them. Good enough to plat though. Just a big disappointment from the first one..Show lessSirGrahame

Actually brought this to throw money at Rubicon to encourage them to make another one of these games. It's polished, fantastically fun and thick with strategy! Love it!MRKane05
Way too easy
Not challenging at all even playing "hard". Too many repetitive missions, a bit disappointed....jasonator79
Great game, but far too easy.
I've played all previous games and for some reason the AI in this game has clearly been reduced, to the point where it quickly gets a bit boring and repetitive, even on the highest (Hard) difficulty setting.
The developers have also removed any and all reference to plot, which they had in prior games in the form of the hapless General.
Overall, this is really more of a Map Expansion Back, rather than a sequel. Again, solid game play, but it seems like the developers are looking for more of a quick cash influx than anything else.Show lessSpaniard0001
More of the same but still good
If you’ve played the first two you know what you’re in for - they have removed some of the more annoying things (Like fog of war for instance, and the need to refuel / re-arm), but its the same gameplay and mission types. More like an expansion pack rather than a new game. I’m still enjoying it, but if you’ve played the previous two play this one on hard level - You’ll need to to make it challenging!Show lessBelly554

This game is a con. Most units are blocked to you even after 45 campaigns and the AI is not nearly as good as in the original.Jeremy 2014
Great game
The game is great and I bought it right away thanks to it including everything without in app purchases. My only complaint is that it seems to be slow and stutters when panning around / zooming, especially compared to gbwg. Also I didn't even hear about it for a month after release so you may wish to advertise it more in the App Store!Show lessSilentknight31

If you have played the other games in this series it's very similar. You now have to collect points to unlock units which is different to the other games but it's made it better. Best strategy game on iTunes by far.Nicksmith51
