Just don’t use it
Made the mistake of thinking this would be best option to do rather then carrying loads of cash. Just don’t bother as now we still have 3 days left on our holiday and can’t top it up. App was useless and kept saying to check card details so eventually managed to get through on the website. Problem now is that they have taken the money from my bank account but haven’t topped the travel card up. We our now down money but are going to have to use our normal cards which charge us every time its used because this so called “easy” to use card has failed us.

Avoid this travel card
I am currently in Orlando and at the half way point in my holiday.
This card has been working fine until yesterday when it was declined at the hotel 3 times, it was saying incorrect credentials plus insufficient balance, for reference the balance is $709 dollars, after being in the embarrassing situation of asking them to try again and again I luckily had taken a credit card and paid with that.
I have emailed customer services and have received a generic response of someone will be in touch soon, nearly 24 hours later they haven’t.
For reference on our last trip to the states we used a Hayes travel card and it was seamless throughout. I should have used again on this trip but was offered a better rate by TUI lesson learnt I won’t be using again.

Wouldn’t recommend
This app works fine in regards to transferring money through the app, the card works fine in foreign ATMs etc. The issue I have with this app is how outdated and frustrating it is. If you forget your password good luck cuz there’s absolutely no help or support to get you back in. Not even a “forgotten password?” option available? Apple Pay
Just bought my travel card yesterday I’m a little bit disappointed that there is no option to add Apple Pay and google pay as a option as some people like to use there phones to pay the app could have a major overhaul it could do with updating and more user friendly interface with Face ID biometrics
I have used post office before and they have Apple Pay and google pay for there travel cards
You have already have the TUI app
My idea is to merge the travel app into one app into one app it’s best to have everything in one place
For example
Bookings/ flights times
Travel money this gives you the option to top up your card as well
And the option to add to Apple Pay and google pay
Insurance
Cruise booking
This way the customers will have a better experience

Limited use app - development team take notice.
This app has to be one of the worst I’ve ever dealt with.
When trying to register new TUI travel cards via the website, I created an account as per the card documentation. The account couldn’t then be registered via the TUI Travel Money app (invalid credentials) and as pointed out by other customers.
The ONLY way to get the app to display the account balance was to register an account directly via the app, a brand new account.
TUI - your app development team need to take notice of this and test thoroughly before releasing a very poor experience to the public.
After using the card for an upcoming trip, I don’t intend to get another TUI card for future use. The app has affected the reputation of the TUI brand.Show lessStu2828
Wouldn’t let me register my card so cannot access my money.
This is rubbish, spent 40 minutes trying to register my card , kept saying invalid, I put £500 on the card and I cannot access my money, I will be straight back to my local tui shop to get my money back when I return home. In the meantime I will have to use my credit card which defeats the object of having a tui prepaid travel card!.

Why is this app not been updated
Can not log in at all even tried some of the suggestions that a developer had suggested nope wont even let me it’s frustrating to say the least will be going to get the remaining funds from the account and using a different company that their apps actually works and is supported same the app that is vital to the account doesn’t work :(Show lessMintybee21
Absolutely ridiculous
This app doesn’t even deserve 1 star. I haven’t been able to login. I can somehow on my iPad but on my phone it won’t accept any of my details and wants me to create a passcode on sign in… how can I do that if I haven’t signed in yet???? I went to a TUI shop to help with my login details and the girl was absolutely useless. She watched me go through all the steps and just said “uh don’t know why it’s doing that sorry” and didn’t even get a colleague to help. What do you expect me to do?!Show lessLucieMary

this by far is the worst card I’ve ever used when travelling. everything was going great I had the app everything was working I could access my balance. but then halfway through my holiday it locked me out completely. I had no access to my balance through ATMs through the app. I was stuck in America with no cash on me. proceeded multiple times to access my account through the app to no luck. The same also happened to my boyfriend who is also had a card with them. The only one I have now have access is emailing customer service every time waiting for a response!

Awful, Avoid
After getting this card I’ve had nothing but problems with logging on and then the app says it isn’t the right credentials, I have reset all the information and it’s still saying it’s wrong so tried again, the app now lets me log on but now says I have a server error and won’t continue with any transactions.
I had a good idea how much was on the card and drew out as many euros as I could otherwise I would of been aboard with no access to my funds.
This cards is shocking and now won’t let me do any transactions to get the rest of my money back.Show lessspudfi
