  • 2nd time lucky.

    This is the second go at ordering a jacket. I paid the first one by Apple Pay. The money was taken but order never completed. I have spent the past two days plus, trying to get this resolved.
    I have now waited 72hrs and no reply from Customer Services. I also called the CS and they sent an email for more info. Returned that with all Apple Pay info and still haven’t heard anything.

    2nd time I tried as I really wanted jacket fri grandchild. I paid with card. This went through ok. Still awaiting confirmation of return of Apple Pay at this time.

  • Great place to shop

    I am an elderly woman with mobility issues and find trying items on in fitting rooms difficult. I tend to buy online but, anything that doesn’t fit, I take into the Wishaw shop. The staff there are always so friendly and helpful and often go the extra mile to help me. Thank you to them all.
  • Frustrated at out of stock items

    Items out of stock online which are available in-store but not not in my required size. Also really frustrated that items that are new in appear to be out of stock when they have just appeared online. This is common in the Et Vous clothing line.
  • What a confusing website

    Hate your new Matalan website , I did my order was about to check out, and remembered I needed something else , so tried to add it but it would not let me , I’m not happy and won’t use this stupid website again , have used the one prior to this one for years , with no problems ,
  • Back button doesn’t work

    Love the app and love the clothes. However I find it really annoying that when I click to view an item then click the back button it doesn’t take me to the previous page it actually wipes my search results and I have to reselect the section I was viewing and then scroll to the bottom and select the page number I was on to continue.
    This makes for very frustrating browsing and I find myself not wanting to look at an item as I’ll lose where I was up to. It also takes a lot of time to keep doing this and it becomes a bit of a mission to get to the end of the section. Few times I’ve run out of time and patience.
    Fix this and you will get more sales Matalan 👍

  • Very poor business

    Bought items on line as the items I purchased would give me free delivery, items arrived in a satisfactory timescale, but 1 item was packaged as the incorrect size, even though the delivery note stated the size I wanted, so obviously I returned the item. Could not believe that I got invoiced extra as I had to pay for delivery due to my order now being less than the stated amount….due to your warehouse packing the wrong size! To add insult to injury, I emailed the customer services and that was over 6 months ago and still haven’t received a reply! Very poor service.

  • Do not trust

    I ordered some clothes for my kids on 09-09–2020 paid £63 so received delivery notification that I should receive my order on 16-09 I was home and been waiting for the delivery on 16-09 as expecting to receive my order according to their order notification email but receive nothing ! I called matalan to find out why as I have been told the order not out yet for delivery yet there was a technical problem and they will be resend the order again . Had to call again following week again to see where my order is this time they told me we are very sorry there is a technical with the order and they have to cancel the order .gad knows how long i have to wait for a refund . NOT HAPPY AT ALL . Please be aware.

  • Worst service ever. Do not trust. Don’t want to refund even after agreeing goods didn’t arrive

    I ordered clothes and paid £83 on 12/8. I received notice of delivery for Wednesday 19/8 then confirmed between 1-5 on 20/8. Home all day didn’t arrive. Emailed Matalan as Hermes showing not delivered still on 25/8. Phoned Matalan and was told I would get an email end of the week. 1/9 phoned as no answer was told parcel list so would refund ( had to wait 17 minutes on the phone to get through ). 7/9 still no refund so phoned again - another 10 minutes of holding only to be told there had been a glitch my refund would be through straight away. 8/9 still no refund so have instructed my bank to pursue it. I have never been treated so badly. No responses. False promises. No trust. Never again !!!!! Think twice before ordering from this shambles.

  • Woah..!

    Downloaded the app and I was looking forward to doing some online shopping but gave up after 10 minutes as I found the app too ‘busy’ with too much info on each page I went to. When I clicked on a particular item I found it incredibly annoying to have the 2 messages pop up in front saying “457 people are looking at this right now” and “purchased 63 times in the last hour”!! I don’t care! It doesn’t add anything to my shopping experience ! It just annoyed me enough for me to go look at another online store.

  • What a fantastic update thank you Matalan!

    This is a brilliant update to the previous app. I can now shop within the app without being bounced out to the mobile web. Also, my reward card details are remembered so I don’t have to keep logging in each time - thank you! I’m really looking forward to what’s coming next as I’ve noticed in one of your responses to another review that you now have a roadmap for app development! Please include barcode scanner and the ability to ‘save’ my favourites. I’m a happy shopper now!
