Phenomenal!
So I love this app. I set a reminder once an hour at a random topic just so I can make sure I stay grounded in my spiritual faith throughout the day! So I don’t lose focus on what’s important! The only improvement I would suggest is when I put a topic I want to pray about at a certain time I don’t want it randomly selecting that at the random times of the day so I wish you could pull out some of the random selection but it’s just as easy to skip it and choose another! I love this app

Premise is awesome but...
I love the idea of this and want to really love it but I paid for the full year premium membership but like the other person reviewed recently, the app crashes every time I try to start a group (the whole reason I paid). I used the "Contact Us" feature and explained my problem but two days later and still no response. Even just a "we're working on it" would suffice. I'm not mad btw. Just an honest critique from a small business owner. I had a friend pay and try to see if it was just me and now I feel bad because he's out the money too and neither of us can start a group. Sad day

Description words too small
I love this app overall but have to give it a 3 because the description font is too small. I pray while I’m riding a stationary bike and can hardly read the descriptions without having to pick up the phone. Seems odd that there is such a difference between the title and description fonts. I like to title “Day 1”, “Day 2”, etc and then use the description for my prayer list. Works so well for me but it’s a challenge. Please address this issue and get a 5 star rating from me. No complaints other than that.

Renewed My Prayer Life
I’ve struggled with having a solid prayer life for pretty much forever. This app has really changed that! It is so easy to use, isn’t cluttered with ads or anything obnoxious, and it does what it does really well. I no longer just sit there, not sure what to pray for. Now, I have a list of people that I pray for every day, and I’ve added scripture for each of those people in the prayer descriptions. I seriously LOVE this app.

I am a church planter serving overseas. I love this app’s simple appearance and typeface/color scheme. The group features are good too; I’ve gladly signed up for the subscription to be able to create feeds and groups. The social prayer aspect is really quite incredible and helpful. I love that it mostly stays out of your face so you can focus on praying. It’s a great addition to our usual e-mail updates, which can be overwhelming for our supporters; Echo provides an easy way to get reminded and updated about prayer requests.
That being said, there could be improvements in the UI. It’s either not intuitive as others have said, or it takes too long to accomplish a task. One example is creating a prayer. There needs to be a hashtag button that makes it easy to add one and to access existing hashtags. When praying, swipe gestures would make sense for editing; or at least, I should be able to edit or mark the prayer more quickly with fewer taps.
It’d be nice also to have a feature to add contact info to each prayer request. I’d like to be able to reach out via email or social media app or phone to connect with somebody I’m praying for without needing to exit the app.
But these are all minor; overall it’s a great experience!

Hi Adrian & Rebecca - Thanks for the suggestions. Adding ui for existing tags is definitely on our list (that's an obvious small missing feature at this point). The rest of what you said is valuable feedback. We've added so much to the app since we launched it four years ago, it's probably worth looking at it with fresh eyes to see where the experience hasn't kept in step with the features. We've got lots on the todo list for the future, so thank you for supporting us with the Echo Plus+ membership!

It’s a great way to be reminded of the power & presence of God. Amazing! Easy to use & operate.

I have been using this app since it came out and love it. Simple concept and UI.
I think it needs two more features to make it truly useful: better iPad support (it scales terribly on the iPad) and Apple Watch support. I actually pray using these two mediums just as much as on my iPhone and have reverted back to using Reminders since it is a list based app that supports all three. If Echo supported them all I would consider it the only app I would need for my prayer time!

This app has been great for my personal prayer life and I will continue to use it this way.
I was just about to start using it for group and shared prayers but found out those features have been incorporated into a subscription service. I am not going to pay for something that I can do for free through a Messenger app. Monetizing these functions through a subscription service rubs me the wrong way.
If you really had to monetize these functions I believe a better approach would be through charitable contributions.

Great App but needs Badges
My bestie and I love using this app to pray for each other throughout the day. It’s easy to throw your requests in the app than text it all out sometimes. The only flaw i would say is the lack of badge alerts. The app does notify us when prayers are added but there is no badge on the actual app that remains there to alert us - should we miss the initial notification. Having the badge for prayers added will remind us that there’s something in there that needs prayer! Please add!
