  • Sometimes works

Won’t let me sign in this year. Password worked fine last year. I lived in the NL for many years, but not now. I love the trains, but this app is cranky. It may not like my foreign address, even though I bought tickets online.
  • Not great

App does not update you about your train at all and will not give you any information that is helpful. If I didn't need I would never use this app again. As well it does not fully translate to English and so it was very confusing that half of the information was still in Dutch. Just overall it make train travel more stressful and confusing than it needs to be.

  • The reviews aren’t wrong

You have to work hard to have an app this bad in 2023. Tickets can’t be purchased directly in the app (directs you to website) but then the tickets won’t load in the app - can’t put them in your wallet (it’s almost 2024) so printing is the only option but who owns a printer these days? Bad.
  • Discount only possible for 1 traveler.

If you book a trip for more than 1 person using discount. The app will calculate discount for only 1 traveler with discount.
Meaning, you will pay too much for the tickets.

The only way to bypass this bug is to buy the tickets selected for each traveller.
  • The worst app ever

Just print your tickets. This app won’t give your digital tickets and customer service doesn’t reply. A fun time.
  • The calendar is wrong

The calendar picker is off by 1.5 months. It’s not early July. I’m unable to select and buy my tickets for my dates in the future because the dates are off/ on the wrong day of the week — deleted and untrusted.
  • Tickets don’t import when bought online

Don’t use this app. Especially if you bought etickets and can’t print them. Because they won’t load into the app and then the NS service desk is useless and can’t print them for you. Such a worthless app and terrible first experience in Amsterdam.

    Developer Response

I'd be very interested to see why the tickets were not correctly imported. You can get in touch with the developers by going to the More tab -> App support -> Contact the developers. ^FS
  • Rubbish

When you make a booking, even if the train times change your saved times in this app never change. My train left 33 minutes earlier than shown in this app and I got no notification: not in the app, by email, or by text. BEWARE. (Compensation delays are taking 36+ weeks too)

Also, in the event your train actually is departing at the original time, notifications are only sometimes working. Track changes might not listed.

Thanks to this app and Schiphol airport, my belief in the ability of the Dutch to organise things well is appropriately adjusted.

    Developer Response

Hi, thanks for leaving this feedback. We are working hard to gather the feedback and make appropriate changes to the app. For your specific case we would like to investigate why you did not get updates. You can reach out to us by email through the app. Tap the "More" category in the app, App support and then tap Contact the developers. ^FS
  • Fix the app for US if you want the Audience to use it.

Trying to download and login. App asks to provide account info. I get stuck on the address. Bc your database does not have my address ( or any us address not sure) i cant finish signing up and login. Yet tickets bought through your system prompt to open them in the app. And bc i cant finish signing up, I also cant open tickets in the app. Either fix the app or remove the prompt to use the app for US customers. Thanks

  • Does what it’s supposed to

Used to app to access previously purchased tickets, as well as trip details (including transfers, platforms, delays, etc). Worked great.
