Poor - no Tube Exits substitute
Feel robbed as no journey planner and fairly crap interface.
Appreciate this may not have been the app’s primary purpose but as others have said feel it could be a lot better than it is.
Unhelpful
Very poor
And no matter how many times the developer responds to reviews, saying we don’t do this or you don’t need to know that, the fact remains that the developer has created a very poor app. No amount of self- justification can get away from that fact.
So, instead of telling all the users they are wrong, why doesn’t the developer use his time actually improving the app? Making it more like the Tube Exits app it seems to have replaced would be a start - it was more useful with a better UI.
The developer may not like it, but they have got it wrong. The mark of a good developer is that they would now change the app to meet the users’ needs.
Same but worse
Poor
Confusing
Doesn’t seem to work
Response from developer
The App tells you where to be on the train at your final destination station (or where your best exit/change point is at an intermediate station along your journey. I've checked a selection of them just to make sure we didn't introduce anything in the latest update. If you've a specific example of where you think something's wrong, use the Contact feature in the App to tell us - it's possible that something may have changed that we don't know about. (We have not been travelling on the Tube for a year for obvious reasons). The other App you mention was a journey planner and worked slightly differently as you observed (and hadn't been updated since ~2015).
No journey planner
Response from developer
We've always stated that we are NOT a journey planner. You don't need to know which way the train enters the platform at your destination, just the side to get out…
