Reviews of Greater Anglia Tickets & Times

  • Mr B2Spirit

Easy to use app. It helps me navigate my second home effortlessly. When I fly into STN, I don’t need to rent a car or pay for expensive parking. Even if I spend months in the States, I can still purchase my UK essentials such as train ticketshassle-free. Highly recommend for frequent travelers or any traveler visiting or living in the UK.
  • Deducted a star for bad/false advertising at airport

I was waiting for the machine to buy a ticket and saw an advertisement on machine that stated it would be faster with the app and I could just buy ticket and “tap and go”. So I downloaded the app, which required I register before purchase (time) and then bought my ticket to Victoria station. Easy enough except instead of a scannable QR or bar code it gave me numbers with which I had to then go to a machine and print out my tickets (time). At the ticket machine it required me to insert my credit card (time) and then enter the code (time). Needless to say, all that extra time made me miss my train by 1 minute. Now have to wait 30 mins for next train (they advertise a train every 15 minutes but not all go to London City I guess). On top of that, I then have to transfer to the blue line (ticket is valid) which there was no mention of until I spoke to an attendant (it’s logical just wasn’t obvious when reading the advertisements). Overall - App good. Advertisements misleading.

Hi, thank you scoring us highly, and apologies for the the issues with the advertising. Its a tricky balance to fit everything in but its clear we can do better! - MA
  • Very easy

Tourist from the US — this is the easiest and cheapest way to buy tickets (especially if you buy a Railcard).
