It is appropriately named as I read it with my morning coffee. I particularly like the option you have for reading further into a subject if you want to.
On the negative side I’m sorry you’ve disposed of the Financial Market summary - now I have to find it elsewhere!
I also always skip the daily quizz . . Two wasted pages

Supplementary
The articles are very broad with a narrow perspective on outcomes. This gives the reader a refreshing outlook on current world affairs. I particularly enjoy looking at the supplementary graphs, charts and infographics that complement the articles. Bravo to this app!MI6 with M in the middle.
Great app but..
Quite Satisfied with it, but could we bring back the daily view of key market indices, exchange rates etc on the last news ?

Sometimes there are bugs. Overall great
Sometimes a podcast won’t play or the regular espresso is yesterdays espresso. Sometimes the espresso just won’t play at all. But I’m general this app is great. Get all your daily news in audio format if you like and then if it is not enough, there is a thirty minute intelligence podcast to listen to that is pretty good that they put out every weekday. I listen to this while I brush my teeth in the morning.Show lessMattyGibbs
Espresso: wake up to world events
Reading the Economist Espresso is how I start my day. I find it covers a cross section of news stories around the world that I wouldn’t otherwise get from local media outlets. just doesn’t work
the full Economist app works great on my iPhone 8 running iOS 16.1.
the Espresso app gets stuck on the page that says:
“What to expect” (Daily…. Weekly)
no option to scroll - only a “back” arrow in top left.
I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling the app, no joy.olivetreecanada
Access to previous days’ news?

I enjoy reading the Espresso. I just wish I could see how to access news for the previous few days, as I used to do in the prior version of the app.

Quick way to get interesting news
The economist is my preferred news source because it covers the big stories but also those not often seen on mainstream sources. I like that I get both of those on the Espresso app as well as the trivia quiz question and my beloved quote of the day!KD 317

Misleading subscription rates
There are two subscription rates for this app promoted on the App Store. But only one of them( most expensive one) is available when the App is installed.saneandconsiderste
