I hate their strong sales push
Any information is impossible to access as well as any demos without every step of the way being pushed by their sales. You can not access anything without agreeing to ALL their conditions. If this was not a Chinese company I possibly would not mind.Santo Peter
Yes, it works!
The virtual flight feature is in the app and works fine on a Mac. It does take a bit of looking to get through the sales material, however. Maybe the one-star negative reviews were caused by user frustration at not quickly finding the simulation. I've never flown a drone and this was my first attempt at virtual flight, but it was easy to figure out how to follow the flight objectives. The initial beginner-level instructions were clear and helpful. The only limitation to my experience was that I don't have a joystick or controller. Flying with a Mac touchpad limits control to one axis at a time, but that's not the app's fault.Show lessJimboy Jackson
False promises
DJI sent me an email inviting me to “Fly DJI Avata 2 Virtually Now!” by clicking on the link. The link took me to the App Store for an iPad app. I downloaded it and all I got was the DJI shop app with no obvious way to try the product virtually. Creative marketing or me being thick?
I was planning to buy one of these but have been put off as my trust in the company has been dented. I have bought at least 10 DJI products before and liked them all.
