  • Mamava Pods

Disclaimer: I’m not a mama nor do I use the pods but I clean them.
These pods are genius! I clean them at my school/work and they are so nice. They are safe spots for female students and staff who are mamas. They are easy to find too which helps. I just wanted to say thank you for coming up with this idea and bringing it to life for those who needed it. Keep going mamas you all are amazing and strong!

  • Thankful for Mamava!!!

I’m so thankful to have found out about Mamava while I was traveling for work. I was having a stressful travel experience, partially with the understanding I needed a pump somewhere in Atlanta airport. If you’ve ever been there, it’s always high stress, a lot of people, & not a lot of options for privacy. I was so thankful to have come across the MAMAVA Pod, it truly was a godsend! It was easy to download theApp, connect and unlock the door, provide power to the pod so I could also plug my computer in while I pumped. It was very well-maintained and the layout was great to provide a private, small clarity break during a very stressful moment. I also was in multiple concourses and so the app helped me identify their location and could not have been more user friendly. I used them multiple times throughout my travel and I’m just so thankful!!

Thank you for your kind feedback—this is the breast thing ever! Your words of appreciation mean a lot to the Mamava team and let us know that we’re making a difference for breastfeeding parents.
  • Account required to access???!

I was excited to find that the Tucson airport had installed a place for me to nurse my child in privacy. When I arrived at the pod a sign informed me that I would need to download the app in order to access the space. This was frustrating enough but I assumed it kept people from using the space for other reasons. I couldn’t get the app to download and had to log on to the airport’s Wi-Fi, all the while my child was getting more and more fussy. When I finally was able to download the app it would not let me in without creating an account. At this point I finally abandoned the whole thing and just ended up feeding my child on the floor. Thanks for nothing.

Uggg! We are so sorry to hear this didn't work out. As you noted, the app is an important part of our design to help parents find Mamava pods and spaces across the country AND to provide a tiny layer of access friction to prevent misuse from non-breastfeeding travelers who want a place to nap or charge a device (this used to happen a lot). Once you have the app downloaded, it’s an easy way to locate and unlock Mamava pods wherever you go. However, we don't like to hear that you had an issue downloading the app! That is so frustrating and we were sorry to hear. If you still want to use it and have any trouble downloading, please reach out to hello@mamava.com and we can help.
  • A lifesaver!!

This app is amazing. Mamava pods are great when you have access to one, but the fact this app finds any pumping area for you in so many locations makes such a difference for a traveling breastfeeding mom. A wonderful tool I’d recommend to all moms!
  • Great for parents and baby

I was in Georgia airport and trying to find a place to breastfeed my baby and we found the right place using this app. Nice location to breastfeed my 2 months little baby. I was able to make my wife and baby happy.
Thanks for the great idea to help moms! 😇
  • Love the lactation pod ❤️

I was at the airport looking for the bathroom to pump my milk, and I saw this. Omggg so I’m thankful, I downloaded the app real quick, it was so easy, the space is super clean, big of you have a stroller and so convenient, thank you for thinking in us the breastfeeding moms.
  • A Gift!

I stepped off the plane wondering where and when I could pump before my work meeting. I settled on the reality it would be in a bathroom stall until I stumbled upon this gift in the ATL airport. Words can’t describe how nice and humanizing it is to pump in a clean, quiet space! Thank you!
  • Saved me!

Thank you, thank you, thank you Mamava! I was traveling for the first time without my baby and needed to pump desperately at the airport. The bathrooms had one outlet in the main room and they stunk. A steward kindly showed me your booth and I am SO grateful that I was able to pump in a beautiful, clean, and private location. Your services are changing the nursing/ pumping world!

  • Love this thing ‼️

Ok so I’ve NEVER seen a mamava before nor have I ever heard of one but I’m glad I came across one. It’s super cozy in here & has just enough space for you & your little one.
I do wish there wasn’t a vent up top that allows all the outside noise to be heard. I’m at a fitness center with a lot of basketball games going on so it’s crazy loud but my daughters a heavy sleeper so it doesn’t faze her. Also I love how I can control the lights & fan from the app I wish I could play the music from the app in the pod instead of just from my phone but other than that I LOVE IT‼️ Can’t wait to use it again.

We're so happy you found us! Fun facts about the ceiling vent. It provides air circulation, additional ambient lighting and they were designed with safety in mind: to help parents hear any emergency messages and to comply with National Fire Protection Association fire codes. Cool idea about sounds for letdown to play in the pod! And we're jealous of your sound sleeper ;)
  • Traveling made SO much easier

Mamava has saved me so many time while traveling. As a working mom, there is nothing worse than having to pump in a gross public bathroom. Mamava is so reliable, clean, comfortable, and makes pumping while on the go a breeze. Every airport in America needs to have one!
