  • EVEN IF YOU CANCEL THEY WILL CHARGE $91

    If I could give 0 stars I would. I did the 7 day free trial watched 1 hockey game and canceled 3 days before I needed to through the App. I read that if I cancelled I could not have an account with my email for 3 years. I cancelled my free trial and then deleted the app. I woke up on Mother’s Day to a $91 charge from FUBO. They had no reps available over the weekend. So I went through my bank account and reported it. My claim was denied. I called FUBO to discuss the issue and receive my refund. THEY WILL NOT ISSUE A REFUND. I know I cancelled the trial. I was not able to do ANYTHING for my wife (who gave me 5 children) or mother on Mother’s Day because this money hungry lying company charged me after I cancelled a free trial. DO NOT TRY THIS SERVICE FOR FREE. YOU WILL REGRET IT AND BE OUT $91 FOR ONLY ONE MONTH OF SERVICE. I though this was yearly! I repeat DO NO TRY THE FREE TRIAL!!!! It truly is just a scam to get your money. I am reporting this all to the BBB and I urge others who have had any negative experience with FUBO to do the same. I simply wanted to enjoy a hockey game and now am out money I wanted to spend on my wife to get her a present she deserves and this service ruined it completely. I am beyond angry at this injustice and I hope to have this review read so others do not suffer the same.

  • Terrible Update

    I’m leaving Fubo. I’ve been with them for years. I’ve put up with them as they’ve gone from affordable to one of the most expensive streaming services. They say they offer more channels but it’s nothing good or worth watching. After this update I’m done, it’s the final straw. You can no longer turn on your TV and watch a show. You now have to go through multiple steps to get to the guide. Once you’re at the guide you still have to go through multiple steps to watch a show. Once you decide on a channel and select it you have to go through another step and confirm you want to watch that channel. It’s terrible and frustrating. They also dropped the switching back and forth between two channels. You used to be able to long hold and automatically change back to a previous channel. Now you have to go back to the guide, scroll to the previous channel, select it, then another screen pops up and you have to choose watch or record. I’ll say it again, THIS IS A HORRIBLE UPDATE! I originally chose Fubo because watching it was the most similar to watching over the air live tv. Now it’s just ridiculous. I’m already downloading and trying out other streaming services free trails. Update I left!!!!!!

  • Horrible Update?

    I just tried another streaming app for a couple of weeks, and left it because of the horrible UI. After leaving them some feedback, I pulled up my fubo app to find that it automatically updated, and fubo appears to now be trying to emulate the horrible UI on the other app. Luckily, only one of my Apple TVs has updated, so the others are useable, so far. (I tried to chat with them to discuss, but their chat service was only offering automated guesses to solve my problem.) I hope fubo will pull the new update and return to the one that is easier to use. I haven’t spent hours trying to get familiar with the new interface. Perhaps it has some advantages, but here are just a couple of examples of changes to (removal of) things that previously impressed me and kept me with fubo: the pulldown screen (while watching a show) that gives you quick, easy access to things like Record, Watch in Multiview, Play from Start, etc., is gone (the pull-down seems to now be the same as the pull-up screen…. Why???); also, when trying to jump forward, it uses 15 (vs10) sec increments, and no longer shows the video frames to show where you are in the video. The new version does show you the amount of time you are forwarding, which could be very helpful if you have already watched the show, and know how many seconds/minutes you want to forward. I hope fubo will go back to adding capabilities rather than removing the really good ones.

  • Still well short of expectations

    The last time I subscribed to fubo, a couple of years ago, the iOS app was terrible - regularly provided much less quality than my network can handle, dropped connection, constantly asked which profile I was using even though it’s literally only me, etc. I assumed that since then, it would have been significantly upgraded. Nope. They didn’t even fix the quality issues, as it still frequently delivers quality well below what the network can handle, and there’s still no setting (as is standard in most other streaming apps) to choose the correct quality if it can’t correctly detect what you can handle. It regularly drops the connection, especially right before or right after the ads that they force into the stream (which is probably what’s causing the drops), the profile question only comes up about half as often, most of the menu screens are taken up by suggestions that are irrelevant at best, and any time a sporting event runs over, fubo jams the thumbnail of the next event in place of the current stream for a few seconds before it realizes that no, actually, we’re still watching the same thing. Deeply, deeply disappointing. I wouldn’t count on it getting much better, either.

  • So frustrating

    App has recently increased prices while major bugs still exist. Yet here I am watching the recorded Super Bowl game and it tells me I am not able to fast forward. This has been and continues to be a problem. At times sending me in a nightmarish loop of returning me to the same point in a sports game and then not allowing me to fast forward or rewind and then eventually erroring and when I try to play it again it drops me in the same point in the game with the same results. It also often jumps to the end of a game when trying to watch a recording. If you plan to record sports or other shows just know that if you try to watch the recording as the game is in progress you will inevitably get the same results as me. Incredibly frustrating app that is not worth the price. I’m going to finish out the nhl season and then end my subscription hopefully to never return.

    While I appreciate the response by developers and despite other reviews they seem relatively responsive and easy to get to. However this is not an issue with a recent update. I submitted a support ticket over a month ago and was told this was a known issue and was offered a 10% reduction in my monthly bill which was increasing by 20%. So while the response is appreciated it is not accurate.

  • Don’t waste your time and money on this

    My boyfriend loves sports and I love popular tv shows so I figured this streaming service would be a great idea for us. I gave the 7 day free trial a chance and I’m glad I did because this app is awful. I started watching Yellowstone but halfway through s2e7 it froze and shut down. When I went back on to pick up where I left off s2e7 is no longer on the app and neither is s2e8? I was just watching it a few minutes ago and now it’s completely gone? Also you can’t watch other episodes in season 2 because they say they’re “upcoming”. Season 2 came out years ago so why can’t I watch those episodes whenever I want? I don’t want to pay close to $100 per month to then have such a glitchy and inconvenient experience. So this is a bummer because I wanted to like it and it’s a good idea but doesn’t hold up to what it claims to offer. Literally didn’t get past an hour of the 7 day free trial because it’s so glitchy and unusable but I guess thanks FuBo for providing a free trial so people can see how awful your product is before actually spending their money!

  • The Best streaming TV service

    Fubo TV is without question the best streaming service for our family. We stream tv using a fire tv stick on all our TVs for a consistent feel and functionality.

    There was an update recently which included a couple of changes that we don’t like and another I consider a defect. I have been a software engineer for more than 28 years. The two feature changes I don’t like could be configurable and allow the user to pick their preference.

    The fast forward was changed from 15 seconds at a time to be only 10 seconds. The visibility of this number was changed from center screen in a readable size to the bottom and not readable from a viewing position. Making it visible and the seconds per click configurable would really be a great way to allow everyone to have their preference

    After fast forwarding or rewinding the screen often remains with a black overlay until I arrow up and then down or something. This is for sure a defect and I trust would get fixed

    The other feature I don’t like personally is the new interface that defaults. Kind of a Netflix style but does not show you when the programs start or finish and what comes on after. Since the left menu provides an option to view the channel guide, it is an adequate work around for me.

    Overall great job guys, keep it up, I do not ever want to change services

  • Steals your money

    I downloaded this app based on recommendations and reviews to watch women’s world cup this year. As most people know if Apple products you are able to “hide your email” when you use your email address to sign up for things. I did that and started a free seven day trial. when I tried to log back in with the password that I thought I had created, I could not get it. I did not receive any confirmation emails of a successful account set up. I was charged almost $90 on August 3. I called when I noticed the charge and was told that the call volume was too high, and to call back later. Automated service. I tried to use the chat assistant, and got nowhere with my particular issue. So today I called and was told that because it had been so long since the charge, my account was not qualifying for refund. I had considered canceling cable and switching to fubo, but now I will never use the service. I got charged $90 for some thing that I was never able to access or view with no other options and when I got upset on the phone I was told I was being unprofessional. do not sign up for the free trial and do not hide your email if you intend to use the service and pay for it $90 a month.

  • Worst streaming app ever so far!!

    This is actually stealing money from customers. Simply everything is bad. I was looking for an streaming app to see the playoffs games and I found this app by accident. I noticed it has trial so I said let’s give it a shot. First the app (on phone and TV) os super slow and everything happens with long delay. Then I was trying to watch the game but when I was clicking on the game it was showing another game!!! At first I thought it’s a net issue or something but after multiple times trying noticed that it is like this… I was like it shows the correct name but showing different game!!! After all this dissatisfaction experience I tried to cancel my trial so I can move on with my life. I went through the account to cancel my trial and it was like you going around and around. It was not let me to cancel my account and I was keep going to different directions to do that. I spent about 30 minutes to cancel my account and I wasn’t able to that. I used the chat, app on TV and every place that I could go. I ended up email them and asked them to do that for me. Funny part was I got charged for an arm and legs even after because of the time of the cancellation. I got charged for $98 just for a month. Trust me don’t waste your time and money. It’s not worth it at ALL!!!!!
