Good but could be better
Great idea and generally works well. Biggest issue for me is an inability to edit a group once it's been created from a phone's Contacts list.
Learned 200 names in a month
I've been looking for an app like this for years. Stopped making the excuse that "I'm no good with names" and decided to do something about it. Entered names, faces and notes for my entire new team (200 people) and after 15-30 minutes of fun quizzes every day for a month, I can walk into any of our offices and "remember" everyone's name and the last thing they told me about themselves. People started asking me how I am so good at names now, and that never happened before.

Really good
1. Loading photos in takes time. Would be easier if the Dropbox upload accepted jpg file format and allowed one to select photos in a folder.
2. Once files are loaded, the quizzing is PHENOMENAL. Fast, easy, extremely effective.
3. I really want a way to add one group into another group. Not individually, but as a group, such as SPA is a part of ANALYSTS so that everyone in SPA is included in the quizzing for ANALYSTS. I would pay for this feature.

So helpful this is my first app review!!!
I teach mostly 9th grade and all students are new to the school since it's their first year of High School. I have three classes and a total of 60 students. I'm terrible at memorizing their names and classroom management is much easier when I do. This is great!!! My goal was to have names learned much faster this year and was considering making flash cards with their on one side and pics on the other. Decided to see if there was an app and boy am I glad I did!!! I took screenshots of their pics, used my seating charts with their pictures to help me tie their location to their picture. I will continue to add information I learn about them. This will be very helpful!!!

Very useful indeed
I found this a very useful App for learning a lot of new names in a short period of time.
Absolutely wonderful app!
I ask that u add the ability to search the entire app for names not just individual folders and that some information will not have pictures so if I could stop the camera from opening when I look at an individual's info. Would buy this program again and again! Quizzes help a lot! I going for a job where I need to know about 150 people immediately and their job and other info. I am able to do this!

Just what I was looking for
I am really quite terrible with names, even people I have met several times. My strategy is getting their photo off of Facebook or LinkedIn then using the quiz, practice learning names. I categorize people by work, church, professional organizations, etc. Incredibly useful. Now when I see people, I don't have that concern "I should know their name..." and can just connect with people.

Disappointing import workflow
Showed initial promise until I had to use this to build a simple group of teaching staff, adding contacts from my address book. I have thousands of carefully curated contacts but the work involved to create a group using Name Shark was tedious. Any contacts that I forgot or wished to add later could only later be added using the camera! The website workaround assumes I have the images as handy files. The developer should have fixed this clunky import workflow with some real field tests instead of just investing in the slick promotion and marketing of the app. Ill save more time using card stock, photographs and a glue stick to make my own flash cards this around.

Very clever & useful app
I am a 65 yr old physician who just opened a new practice at a medical spa & surgical facility. The problem is that my staff is composed almost entirely of similarly beautiful young women, most of whom have dark hair. I've never been good with names, but this program has made it easy and fun to remember their names and faces. A remarkably useful little program!
