  • Problem fixed!

    It was not working for my iphone 7 plus, I went to the website and still could not figure out how to get support. I had to delete the app and re-install it and thankfully it works, now I can get back to downloading my music videos 🤗

  • Export is broken

    Recording functions work ok, but exporting to files/Dropbox/Drive etc. is broken. Only way to get a file out is to save it to the camera roll (iPhone 5s, iOS 11). Also, audio won’t play through a Bluetooth speaker, always plays through phone.

    First review, current edited review at end: I was in love with this little recording device, so simple to use and worked beautifully for a while but the app has not been updated in so so long I cannot get behind something that hasn’t even had KNOWN issues sorted out. I mean it’s your business and you know it’s a problem well why not roll out a patch and sort everyone’s issues? Saving and rotation. As for your recommendation:”use another app” well you might as well have said “we don’t want your business” because that’s exactly what I hear when I see that. Part of using apple iPhone is keeping it updated, you should have that built into your update schedule surely? Keep your customers happy because once confidence goes loyalty does too. I don’t want to come across as a snotty customer here I’m simply worried that because of something so simple as an update your customers are gonna vanish and the device will fade from
    Memory and then that’s one product consigned to the dustbin of history, whereas I feel this COULD be considered a classic product of history “remember that awesome thing that was so simple to use and did it all so well?” Come on guys make it happen!!!

    Edit - they have now fixed these issues and I have left my original comment up to show what brilliant customer service this company has. They not only produce fine products but they make the effort to help you out. First class. I’ve changed this from a one star review to a 5 star to reflect this. Keep up the good work and I will always recommend your products to fellow guitarists. :-)

  • Won’t work

    It’s great when it works, BUT, I’ve not been able to get the app to work since the new iOS update, which is really annoying as I’ve only had the recorder less than a month, I always saw Focusrite as being one of the leaders in the market with this sort of thing, as we can now see, there’s not been an update for a few years now, I have now lost faith in there products... if they bothered to read their reviews they’d see it was necessary to keep up, “SORT IT OUT GUYS!”...

    Update: after receiving g a response after my first review telling me that focusrite are sorting this issue it still doesn’t work, before I purchased this product I’d been researching the focusrite range of interfaces, I almost purchased a 6i6, anyway due to the reliability of these updates it led me to wonder what other updates amongst their range could be lacking, so I purchased a ROLAND RUBIX 44 instead, marvellous product and Roland are on the ball when it comes to customer service, I’ve dealt with them for a few years now, I wonder how many more customers they’re loosing due to this?!...
    Not impressed...

    Update: it seems it has finally been updated and is now working, I will now see how it goes...

  • App needs updating

    I have just purchased the Focusrite iTrack Pocket and have found out that it is useless as the app doesn’t work properly. As well as the rotation issues experienced by others, I have recorded videos, which I can play in the app but I cannot save them anywhere, as soon as I try to upload them the app just crashes. So great, I have wasted money on something that only works with one app and because the app has not been updated for 3 years, it no longer works with the latest version of iOS.

    Edit after developer response: Too late, iTrack Pocket has been returned to the supplier under the UK sale of goods act which states that if something doesn’t work as it should you are entitled to return and get a full refund. To be honest, your response is not acceptable, you have been aware of the issues for long enough and should have rectified them by now, however looking at your various responses to other reviews which recommend using a different app, I’m assuming that you are not going to update the app and your impending announcement will be something to that effect.

    Edit after second developer response: well done but too late, in the face of the app not having been updated for so long meaning I was not confident it ever would be, I have already returned the iTrack Pocket to the supplier for a refund.

    Finally someone created at application that really work , thank so much , i highly recomended the App
    With the update OS11 im not able to share my videos the app crash , focusrite people when you gonna help your costumer and update the impact application ?

  • Simply doesn’t work

    Just purchased the iTrack Pocket, only to find out that the app associated with it simply doesn’t work. It’s just a mirror - there’s no record button or anything at all of that nature. Reading previous reviews, it is clear there have been issues for a while now, and you should probably just admit you can’t be bothered as opposed to continuously telling customers you’re ‘working on it’ when you obviously aren’t.

  • Great update. Very impressed.

    The previous version really didn’t agree with my phone so I would always use the iOS camera app to record and use Impact only for monitoring the input level of my iTrack Pocket. Tried the new update yesterday and it was a real pleasure to use. Well done Focusrite for sorting it out. Considering you can currently buy an iTrack pocket new for under £20 GBP ($25 USD), value for money has just gone through the roof.
