I know I know, cringe statement but true nonetheless. It used to be that you could make more than one adventure and more than 3 encounters without buying anything. It was perfect for when I had that spark of creativity and had new ideas for my campaign and write them up super easy... now I cant do that. Mostly because the idea of having to pay for an advertised as free app isn’t something I support. If its not free anymore (which its not. If you actually want to use the app properly you HAVE to pay) then change it to pay to download. The app is basically a demo, and it’s misleading af. Especially when your “disclaimer” is at the VERY bottom of your description, a description which most people stopped reading after the first paragraph because they’re not expecting to have to *buy* anything.
TL;DR the app is misleading af, dont buy or download it.
Devs, do better. Id rather have an ad banner than have to pay for something that *was* free and is advertised as such.

Amazing and simple to use but...
I love to use this app as I am a tech dm who uses living
Battle maps on a tv and love everything at my fingertips. My only issue with this app is the lack of a complete compendium for spells and creatures. One would assume that it would at least have all of the creatures and monsters in the monster manual and spell list from the base version of lists. However, this is not true. When your are using all the latest official content that has been released, you find yourself having to add EVERYTHING. I feel that if this app released an update adding these things to it, that it desperately needs, it would make building complex enemies and NPC’s to the game more of an enjoyable process then it currently is. Every week I find myself taking more time to add things into the app manually than it takes to plan out the next session.
Do not let this sway you away from using this app, as the functionality and intuitive interface is spectacular. I just wish it had more content within it.

Best D&D GM app
Just started to use it, love it. Save so much time when playing a game as a GM.

App crashes after buying premium
I was trying the app out and really liked the functions and design so I purchased the premium version to run a larger campaign. After purchasing the app started to crash every time I opened it and tried to add to the campaign I already made or tried to adjust the campaign I made.
Great app
A fantastic app, though I would personally love if we could make new skills or have the inventory system in such a way that characters can be assigned equipment and attunements rather then have it all in a seperate section.
Very useful but frustrating at times
Sometimes imports/exports, sometimes doesn’t. Added monsters disappear. Lots need to be added. That said, I use it every week and I recommend it over Beyond.
excellent dm tool for those willing to learn it
it takes a bit of learning and set up, but after a few awkward sessions where the action ground to a halt while i figured out how to do something, i have come to really depend on and enjoy using this app at our weekly sessions. to those that complain it is missing features and spells, know that lions den can legally only include those included in the SRD, a subset of the official 5e books, so you will need to enter spells/abilities not included there or find someone who has and update the compendium accordingly.
the number one feature that would perhaps make things smoother from my experience over the past few months would be an option to perhaps move creatures from one encounter to another, as my number one delay is usually having to manually add reinforcements from nearby areas that come in mid-combat when i had already set them up as a separate encounter.
a second might be an option to add/remove a pc/npc to all uncompleted encounters? in my usual focus on the action, ive had a couple encounters where a new player sits there politely for a couple rounds before i realized id missed adding them to an encounter set up before they joined.
overall though, i love this app and cant thank lions den enough for providing it.

Good, but there are bugs
This app is good most of the time, but there are bugs when you save a new monster, and not all items, monsters and spells are there.
