Best DM app I've used
Have been using this app for years. Honestly couldn't ask for anything better. Being able to create and save my own creatures is dope. Assigning custom pictures to my campaigns and sessions means all of my notes are clear, organised and aesthetic.
Great work!

Indispensable App for DM’s who like to stay organised
Been using this App for 3 years now and I must say it is probably the best App for my D&D games that I’ve ever used. I’m an old school paper and dice kinda guy and this App permanently converted me.
All my players use the Fight Club 5e App, and send me updates of their characters via email. Its simple to use Dropbox to upload their latest stats into my campaign so i have a measure of encounter difficulty every time i produce one, and can load or delete or add them to encounters as needed.
I have written entire campaigns on the App for up to 7 players, i have a library of dozens of NPCs in the compendium, that i can track, notate and tweek as required. I can add pictures of players, monsters and NPC’s and being able to roll Advantage or Disadvantage and critical, as well as being able to track hp, conditions, look at spells, modify and create monsters, and send players treasures, special magical items and items from their adventures via a simple email send in App.
I can add Maps to encounters with a simple photo upload allowing me to stay organised, special notes about the set-up or aftermath of battle that I can look at during the combat round and..well, its simply all there.
Never had any real issues with stability and have loved all the upgrades.
Is it perfect? Well every DM can want a dozen little tweaks based on their style and campaign. I’ve found this App meets 99.9% of mine which is very satisfying.
Bottom line, spend the few dollars to get the Full version. Same goes for the Fight Club 5e App. They’re both worth it.

Lost eveything
I badly want to love this product. It’s perfect for my needs. Looks great. Intuitive UI. I downloaded and paid for the premium version. I spent the better part of a day inputting all the data from my current campaign. I made sure to check the auto backup to iCloud selection. I open up my iPad a few hours later and it’s all gone - hours of work. I try to restore from backup. It tells me it loaded but everything is still missing. Grrrr. Maybe it’s just a fluke I think. I will not be deterred. I I nput everything again. I paid for this sucker and darned if I’m not going to use it. But this time I send my self an email xml file as a backup. Just in case. In the morning when I turn it on. Everything is missing again. No worries right? That’s what the xml file is for. I follow the instructions for importing and “error cannot parse the file” I’m trying to contact the developers to get some help but no luck yet. So overall excellent product except for the part about it deleting all of your data and failing to have a working backup solution.

Tricked into clicking ads
Critical buttons are placed over ads, and when you click them you activate the ad link underneath. This is a pretty low tactic. Not sure if I will purchase ad free. Devs seem dodgy.
Not the most stable app... but there is a lot to it, like some very handy features.

Perfect for all my needs
I almost feel like I couldn’t run games without this, that’s how perfect it is.
Paid, loved, & never looked back!
There’s so many compendiums and campaigns to download, plus the option to create HomeBrew. It can back up to iCloud and load to any iOS device, really love this app!
Fantastic for what it is
I love this app. It is limited to the basic rules, but you can add stuff in easily. I use it a lot & it has helped me run multiple games with different groups.
My only gripe is unless you use the pre installed mail app you can't import or export to different devices. For instance I use it mainly on my iPad, but I'd like to be able to edit on my phone & have it sync up, or at least recognise 3rd party email apps.

Amazing
Super helpful
Good but buggy
I love this app, but the roll initiative button has only ever worked for me once, even after uninstalling and reinstalling the app.
This stops me from being able to run any encounters and makes the app pretty useless.

Most useful app
My children and I just started playing 5th edition (I played some D&D back in the day: Basic set, dabbled with AD&D, missed 2nd, 3rd, and 3.5, then fiddled with 4th edition). Fifth edition has been quite interesting and fun so far, and this app has been invaluable. We are working our way through "Lost Mine of Phandelver" and GameMaster has truly facilitated all the encounters with appropriate details with initiative order, turn/round management, HP and condition tracking, etc. (I have one feature request: is it possible to allow for customized conditions incurred during combat?) This app eliminates a good amount of the tedium for a DM. Dice rolling features are convenient, though we prefer the tactile experience of real dice -- nothing like the excitement of rolling a natural 20. Very useful to be able to import and export data and customize the compendium. This helped me homebrew a few things like spells and monsters. Great app that will streamline and enhance your game.
