Notifications and saves
The last 2 versions have not been sharing or saving created events. Those with private access to my calendar haven’t been able to see it after years of successful sharing.
The notifications have been coming 1-2 days after an event has already passed!! I have checked all my settings and seems like this app is just unreliable at this point. I’m having to send emails to people to make sure they know about events I’ve sent invites to. For work events this is a HUGE problem that our shared calendars are not syncing. No one has changed any permissions and we are not able to see shared work calendars. We shouldn’t have to send separate emails and texts because our calendars aren’t working.
Edited as a response to the developer response: I have everything set up properly, and have for years. I haven’t changed my settings, and don’t need to. The latest version isn’t working properly. Acknowledge that there’s an issue. Reading these reviews, I’m not the only person experiencing this.

I’m haunted by the Europeans.
Google Calendar is a very convenient tool to use when managing your day to day life, especially with another person. I do recommend it over the default calendar app, but the only dispute I have with it is that there’s a constant bug that sets your time zone to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT), which is located within the UK. I’ve seen that many other people online have dealt with a similar problem and have found no real solution besides changing it manually. Unless you live in this area, you run the risk of finding out last minute that you the app has switched the time of an appointment in your calendar without notifying you. As someone who has health issues and schedules doctor visits constantly, and often times in advance, it’s frustrating to catch these thing last minute and have to battle with the app for it to stay corrected. It seems this bug does not affect all users, as the other person in my calendar does not experience this and all settings within the app and my phone itself are set to the correct time zone. Unfortunately for me it simply becomes aggravating after a while. Google I pray you fix this bug for the sake of my sanity. Thank you.

Very good but few tweaks needed.
Hello, in the Google Calendar desktop version, past events appear with reduced opacity, making it easy to differentiate them from upcoming events. However, the iOS app currently displays all events with full opacity, regardless of whether they’re in the past or future. This lack of visual distinction reduces readability and makes it harder to quickly tell which events have already happened.
Please add a setting in the iOS app to make past events less opaque, similar to the desktop version. This setting could allow users to toggle reduced opacity for past events and even adjust the level of transparency to their preference. This change would improve readability, provide consistency across platforms, and give users greater control over their calendar view.

Flawless
I have used this app for over five(5) years. I am a union rep with multiple meetings and contract negotiations. I find that creating an event or having someone create an event is super easy. It links instantly. I get reminded of my scheduled events which is a life saver. The color codes are just as awesome. Being able to look at my whole month is very convenient. I immediately know at a glance if I am available to set or accept another meeting. Accepting a meeting or event from my email automatically links it to my calendar if accepted. I don’t have to go and manually add it.
I read some of the comments and I have not once experienced any of the ones mentioned. Thank goodness.
The only thing I wished could be added is when I need to edit a color for an event it will not let you. I have to delete it and assign it a new color. Other then that inconvenience, I am very satisfied with this app.

Please add today’s day on App’s icon
Great app, I’ve been using it for a while but it fight for space with Apple’s IOS’s calendar app simply because it shows me today’s day as I unlock my phone and browse through apps. A simple functionality that saves me a click or two. Please add that feature for us lovers of Google Calendar and let me hide the IOS one into a folder, for good.

Too easy to end up on the new event page
Do Google even take feedback?
Calendar is mostly great. It would be better if there were an option to suppress going to the new event page when clicking pretty much anywhere on the page as this results in me constantly ending up in that dialog and having to hit Cancel - this happens many times every day. Just have an option that requires the use of the already present Plus button at the bottom-right for a giant improvement.

Love this app, have some suggestions!
I love my google calendar. Like, to an unhealthy level. It organises my life so perfectly.
Two requests pretty please:
- When adding an attachment to an appointment, it would be amazing to have the ability to quick add photos from camera roll
- More colours for customisation! I’ve run out!!

I love this app but a slight tweak would be great
I know you can add people’s birthdays in. But I would love a section in the app where you can input and see everyone’s birthdays/ anniversary etc in one glance. One that would automatically show the age the person is turning each year. Possibly even alert or highlight milestone birthdays.
Other than that. Just a few more colour options. I would love to have a colour for more regular items. Like each child for appointments, a colour for work rosters. A colour for appointments. A colour for birthdays etc. Just a larger selection of colours would be great 💕💕 other than this. Really loving the app. Easy to use, easy to read. I love how it puts appointments in from my emails.

More Colours
I love this app, my partner and I use it to merge our daily lives together and stay in the know about events, birthdays, holidays etc. The only thing we have found is that there are no where near enough colour choices for events and tasks! We love having everything as its own colour and we are running out of colours having 3 jobs and events every week.
The colours you can choose to change public holidays to has double the options and we would love to be able to use all of those on normal events please!

Love this calender
I really like this calender but want to suggest some improvements. Like allowing the option to add multiple notification alerts at the same time. It always jumps back out when you select one & I need multiple reminders.
Also, I can still miss these reminders if I am away from my phone. Not sure how to better improve that but I’d love your thoughts on it.
Is there a side bar option that could hold the reminders/ to-do list on the side of the calender view so you could be prompted to mark things off?
Oh and I’d like a way I could share and categorise a calender directly with my family and set up a reminder that notifies other family members of upcoming appointments.
