  • Latest update damaged gameplay

I have loved this game since I got it. I’ve played through it three times. The latest update has made it so that “back” button no longer works on my iPhone 5S. This means that I’m stuck in shop menus, and I’m not able to get out and back to playing. Effectively, the game is no longer playable. PLEASE FIX THIS SO I CAN KEEP PLAYING!

  • Cramps My Hand

These one handed video games are so uncomfortable to play. I’m not alone in this. Carpel tunnel syndrome anyone?
  • Crashes towards the end

Absolutely love this game and I think this port runs fantastic through the majority of the game. I had no problems and no complaints with the ports DQ1 or DQ2 and this one was shaping up to be great as well. However, while grinding for levels before the final boss I have experienced many crashes that have really turned me off of completing the game. I’m going to do it because I’ve made it this far and I want to finish but it’s really upsetting that I have to make sure to quick save after every single encounter just in case one of those crashes does occur. Sadly I have to go with a 3 star for this even though this is one of my favorite RPGs.

  • Crashes

Game crashes everytime I try and cast KASIZZLE
  • No cloud save?

So my data disappears when I delete the app or need to switch devices? Seriously?!
  • Great until crash after end boss

Had a great time with this game until the very end. Crashes every time I beat Zoma, during his death speech. Disappoint :(
  • Excellent Classic RPG

    I thoroughly enjoyed this game.
Highly recommend for anyone looking for old school RPG with a good touch interface and some quality of life enhancements.
I played through it while my buddy played through on his GBColor, and there are some differences. In the gameboy version and SNES there is the Pachisi track which can give you awesome items, on this version that isn't here and powerful items are much more limited. Translation also differs a bit with enemy, town and spell names as well as dialogue.
Also, no GBC ice dungeon with grand dragon as an additional super boss.
GBC has more content but this version pleased me.

  • crashed on final battle

Never been victim of a crash until I was at the very final battle, right when I won the battle it crashed on me! Happened just yesterday, on my iPad (2017 model) The app probably needs to be fixed soon. I ended up having to win the battle again, after almost deciding not to. (pretty tough long battle) and it didn't cash the second time. I was able to see the ending. Other than this crashing issue, it is a fantastic game.

  • Casting Kasizzle...

    ...crashes the app / game.

    Please remedy.

    Thanks in advance!
  • Great game, very enjoyable.

This game is absolutely fantastic! I recently played many games on the phone since I spend a lot of time travelling for work. I bought many other remakes such as ff9, ff5 or new game like chaos ring but (I know it sound madness but) this is definitely the one I'm enjoying the most. The controls are amazing, so you can play your game without rotate the phone, also switching from an application to another. The musics are absolutely great, rearranged completely and the quality is very very good. The graphic is decent, yes is very classical but honestly I prefer something like that, it's very colourful, handful, and most of all it doesn't drain down your battery in one hour (ff9 does!). The story is pretty linear but i find this a strength since you're playing over the phone: I personally play when I commute, I can't be bother to look the walk through in case I missed something so too complicated games require more attention to details and for that is probably better to spend some money in a proper console. With DQ3 you just go around the world, dungeon after dungeon, collect informations in the towns and follow the basic story. Battles as well I find them very funny: not many animations but very fast to charge, you can put an automatic tactics for your party and the graphic is very cute: just a stripe over the screen on the phone and the details of your party on top, very simple but it work so well, without becoming boring. According to me definitely a great game! 9£ well spent.
