What an awful software. Can’t connect with device. Archaic and useless.
Garbage Can
Trash heap the perfect place for this app and tool. Inspection camera Tool was used maybe 2 or 3 times now no connection with app. Cannot login and no support for the tool.

Doesn’t detect laser distance module anymore
It use to work with the old IPhone OS when I got it back in 2018. After a few Apple updates it stopped detecting the laser module. Changed batteries as it told me to but the app doesn’t work anymore. Waste of money.
Don’t bother.
Got a Ryobi laser level free in a competition. First time of going to use it. Well this app is absolutely useless. As for the laser level and plugging into an iPhone 7 not recognised, so that is now for the recycling and useless. Disappointed RYOBI. 😡

The wired Moisture Meter will not save the photos
I turned the access to photos on in settings, and restarted the app. The app refuses to save the photos. It keeps stating that “Ryobi unable to save the reading in photo album please check access” . When I check the access, the camera is selected but it does t give an option to access photo album. This app used to work perfect and I used this moisture meter a lot for work. It would be really nice if it worked. Ryobi needs to work on its app to keep up with IOS updates and make sure it’s always working and up to date. This is clearly a software issue. I have IOS 14.6. Tried restarting phone and uninstalling and reinstalling app. Nothing seems to work. Very frustrating.

Not worth it...
I cannot remember leaving a bad review of a product… I bought the laser distance measuring device. It worked once.I have spent close to 45 minutes or an hour trying to get it to work again: changed batteries, reloaded the app, reset the phone, and on and on. The laser horribly mismeasured, I cleaned the glass with a glass cleaner for glasses and was careful etc. nope that wasn’t the problem, the thing has just died. The app didn’t recognize the device thereafter. It thought it was the laser pointer! It now thinks it’s still the pointer and it it even turned on the laser! ...before going back to bed and turning off the light. iPhone user -updated everything folks. Somebody’s just failed. I’ve given up. It was a waste of money and now time.

If you are trying to make this app work with ryobi es3001 - stop. You have installed a wrong app, check out “phoneworks bt” in app store.
I wish they would explain it clearly in instructions. Wasted plenty of time before i realized that bluetooth version is separate.
