Great App for testing true line speed
Use the "Full" test for assessing streaming speed. Great for checking possible speeds before a videoconference. Another great app for line quality tests is MyConnection. But I always start with nPerf.

Too much data collection
I would be happy to help contribute by allowing gps, network carrier and device, but really do not need to collect that much personal data. Chinese apps does that and its very bad, dont expect the same low standard from an EU country. Didnt accept the privacy. Delete.Den7Plus

Aside necessary technical data we need to run the test, the only « personal » data we are getting is your location when you make a test to associate it to the result (permission that you can decline) and an eMail address when you want to create a free nPerf account.iPad performance

Coverage mapping for iPhones

Not working.
I have been using NPERF testing for a long time and never had a problem.
Since a change of internet provider, the test says zero download every time I use it.
Can anybody help please. Obviously I know the internet speed is good because all my appliances work and other speed tests are informing me that I am getting in excess of 200 mbs upload and download.
