  • Works well

Looks bad but it’s functional and does the job.

    Note to dev:
There is an issue with the manual server search. It does not populate unless you turn off automatic search twice.
  • Cool

Everything it’s fine. Sorry, in the beginning I didn’t realised that it was performance check, so it’s my mistake :) 5 stars!

Hello, thank you for using nPerf ! What you describe is just not supposed to be possible and can only be a bug ! If you ever see this again, please send us a screenshot so we can understand and correct it (https://www.nperf.com/en/contact/).
  • Perfect for the speed testing fans

Intuitive interface, multiple testing paths, with customizable # of worker threads. History feature is very useful especially when trouble shooting.
  • Testing internet speeds

This apt is easy used and seems accurate thank you nPerf
  • The best

Have been a long time user of this speed test app and it covers all grounds when it comes to an analysis of what your working with. I wish they would expand upon what they have to be the normal on all electronics
  • QUICK AND COMPREHENSIVE

    I. It measures download speed
    2. It measures Upload speed as well
    3. Latency for gaming
    4. Browsing speed (and (who doesn’t browse?!)
    5. Video set up and amount of buffering
    6. It creates a one screen report card of the test’s results on my iPhone and iPad Pro.
My Internet and WiFi are by Spectrum which promises download speeds to always be at at least 200 Mbps. My down load results are usually between 230 and 240 Mbps. Latency is around 20, and browsing is usually in the high 80s percentile (funny it was 91% for the first time today). Browsing has always been in the low 90s percentile and best of all buffering has ALWAYS been zero. Finally, if tracking results are important to you, the app’s final page is a one screen complete comprehensive report you can screenshot and store in a photo album.
I realize measurement protocols vary and I’ll leave debating this app’s methodology and algorithms to each user. No mater how you currently measure your cellular and WiFi device performance now, I recommend you give you this app a try. If it’s not for you, fortunately Apple makes deleting almost every app (including many of their own) a breeze.
Thank you for reading my review. My best wishes to all and please stay safe.

  • Pretty darn good

As a communications field engineer I like the convenience of using my phone for general testing. For more advanced purposes I would use my laptop of course.

This app has a lot going for it and is on par with Ookla speed test results. Nice to see jitter data along with the u/d speed.

I do like the ability to specify speed vs streaming and browsing tests. I would like to have an option to taylor the data package size for more lengthy testing

Also a great addition to have in a future release would be the ability to view RSRP0 and RSRP1 dBm data when testing the cellular signal.

  • Video Testing

    Greetings,

The streaming test only shows 720p how come it doesn’t have 1080p or 4k testing ?

    Developer Response

Hello, thank you for using nPerf ! 4k YouTube videos are unfortunately not supported at this time on iOS. 1080p videos will be added in a future release for Wi-Fi and 5G cellular connections.
  • How is my internet connection

    All is good thanks
  • The best test I’ve ever used.

It does so much more than other testers I have used 5 stars and well deserved.
