FEATURE REQUEST: Quick Changes for Multi-Zone Homes
Please add the capability to make quick changes to multiple zones at once. Currently, if occupants leave heat on in a large home with multiple zones (e.g., a vacation rental property with 7 zones) I have to select each device from the home screen, drill down into the quick changes section, and then switch from “home” to “away for now.” The app is also very slow to respond, so doing this right now takes 2-3 minutes. It would be nice to add a customizable smart action to the home screen so that I can do this all at once with a tap, and then another smart action that allows me to quickly change all zones back to “home for now” with one tap. This is especially helpful for rental properties because time is of the essence and because the vacation scheduler is too clunky to manage for a bookings calendar that is always changing and is disconnected from (lacks integration with) that calendar. Alternatively, add the capability from the home screen to make the quick change FIRST, then prompt the user to specify which zones to apply that change to. I hope this is a simple addition to roll out that will enhance workflow for users!
