This app was amazing but slows down your phone
The map and places tracking tool is way better than any other app out there now for simplicity and ease of use.
EXCEPT. That no matter what I do, restart, update software, delete, redownload, it always slows down all apps on my phone. Not just this app, its not only warping time in its own world, but it slows down everything on my entire phone until I close it several times.

A great app for travel or for hot spots at home
I love this app - I especially like the way it allows me to track locations that I want to remember to visit the next time I am traveling to a location, or even to keep track of cool spots and highly-rated restaurants in my hometown, with tags and/or “you are nearby alerts” to help me find them when I finally get around to checking them out. I have been searching for years of a way to keep track of the fabulous food scene of Chicago. Mapstr is the best app to do that. Tagging by neighborhood, cuisine, chef, great rooftop etc etc has been super helpful for me to be able to easily pull up great options that meet my criteria. Many friends and family contact me because they know I’ll have great recommendations on where they should go because of mapstr. I love how there’s now more room for a restaurant description. More detail has helped so much! I also love that I can include links to online articles about the place so I can easily find more info. I know there is a social aspect to this app, but I really use it to keep track of places I want to go in cities I’m exploring. For that, it’s perfect. The only thing I don’t like is that you have to tag everything, but that’s not a big deal because it forced me to be a little more organized in my locations.Show lessyungstud
Love this App! SO useful!
I love Mapstr, it is so useful in my everyday life! Very easy to use and so practical! Being able to add tags to every places you save on the app makes it super customizable and practical. I no longer have 100 notes on my phone with restaurants ideas my friends talked to me about or that I saw a month ago in a magazine: all these places are on my Mapstr, ready to be tried! Also, being able to take inspos on my friend’s maps is what makes it much better than any other app!

I love Mapstr and have been using it for a few years now. Maps are important to me when I travel and having this app suits my way of organizing the things I read or hear about that I want to visit. It’s also handy in LA where I live, since there are cool things to see and eat in many neighborhoods that may be off my beaten path. In Paris last fall I was able to easily see places that I had been plugging in rather than going thru a folder full of old clippings and then not knowing where they were, my previous method of saving good ideas. I love Mapstr. I love to travel and use a map to help me plan and navigate trips. Mapstr allows me to save the places that I’ve been and reference them as I go. You can share your map with friends or keep it to yourself as you travel over time. Very simple to use and easy to understand.Jack M Whits

Great place to put all the fav spots you’ve visited and seen in all the cities you go to or live in! Helps categorize the places and lets you know where in the vicinity they are located and also great filters. It helps alot to choose or pick a place when you revisit a city again!

Fantastic App
I love keeping track of things and having carefully organized lists of everything. Mapstr is my list of places I have been too and places I want to go. Favorite restaurants, photo shoot locations, spas, places to shop, hotels and everything else. The visualization on a map is the defining touch. Love it! Use it all the time!
This app lets me create my own maps to save places that I either have been and want to go visit locally or out of state. So far I’m up to over 100 places from jazzy coffee shops to hang out spots to amazing food. The best part is that wherever I go, it lists the closest locations to where I am. Like if we go back to Vegas, i have my go to spots, every time I go home to New Orleans, I pull up my map and it shows me all of my saved places starting with closest to furthest away.
