  • Don’t understand why devs don’t do more games like this!

The Room games have been favorites since the first one arrived on the App Store, and the entire set is almost universally praised. A perennial favorite… Sp why are there not more games of this particular type??? The DaVinci games are good too, but almost the exact same sort of theme, and not as polished, but those are almost the only other games to be had of this type. Don’t get me wrong, these stem from other point-and-click puzzlers, and there are a fair amount of those. And yes, I imagine that the sheer amount of work involved in a game of this sort is daunting… but surely the payoff would be worth it to more studios? Idk, perhaps not. All I can say is that I hope very much that Fireproof comes out with a new title soon. This one is the most challenging of the bunch, while Old Sins might be my favorite due to the dollhouse concept, but I really don’t care what direction they go… another game with these sorts of atmospheric puzzles will be an auto buy for me and thousands of others.

  • This is my favorite game series of all time!!!

This game is so intriguing so immersive SPOILER ALERT!!!
In this series there are alternate endings!!! I love this game more than anything I have ever played on my tablet!!! If you like sloving puzzles and love your mind to be challenged to think harder this series is it!!! Some things you think are simple are complicated and some things that you think are complicated are actually more simple in my experience. I’m like aaah.. Sneaky.. lolz I love what they have done with this series I haven’t played the game after this yet but I am as soon as I’m done writing this review. One tiny complaint, on one of the puzzles towards the end I was trying to solve something and it kept zooming me out of the entrance place. It was a bit annoying but I was able to keep my cool and deal with it but I’m not gonna lie it really ticked me off getting zoomed out so many times. Lolz That’s my first and only complaint with the series. I highly recommend this to everyone who likes puzzle mystery solving. Tis quite the fun game i’d say to all the clever explorers out there!!! Thanks for your time and reading my review!!!

  • Disappointed with alternative endings.

So I beat the game. You can then revisit to find other ways to win. This is where my 5 star experience turns into a 2 star experience. I accidentally clicked the room that sends you to the outside observatory which is the last room in the game before you beat it. I didn’t want to go here but there’s no way back once you’re here. If I click restart chapter it simply restarts from the animation of me warping into the room I don’t want to be in. If I go to the main menu I can only continue or make a new profile. So basically my only option is to beet the last room again before I can restart the game in the main house where I was before I clicked the door. I find this so so annoying. So annoying in fact that I’m refusing to go through that again just to get back to where I want to be. It’s bad foresight on the development end and because of that I’m leaving a 2 star review and refusing to finish the other 4 puzzles until this is fixed. If you’re going to let someone free roam to discover alternative endings after they beet the game you should let them return to different areas that locked you inside in the original game if they click the wrong thing. The puzzles are great but this new alternative ending thing you guys are trying wasn’t very well thought out IMO. If I click restart chapter on an alternative ending campaign it should take me to the very beginning, end of story.
