As an amateur watch collector is great to find somewhere that has such a multitude of watches of all types , reasonable auction fees too . Bought several now able to pick and choose a bit more but still check in case something different I hadn’t considered catches my eye . Don’t always win , but do like that confetti moment.

Impossible to reach a human for support

They charge a 9% fee called “Buyer Protection”, but it is impossible to get any response from them other than the automated “Thank you for contacting us” emails. I filed a claim for an undelivered item, their automated response stated someone would contact me shortly - no one ever did. In the end, I had to file a dispute with my credit card. Such a shame as most sellers are honest, but when something goes wrong, Catawiki is nowhere to be found.

Not receiving what I’ve bought

After dedicating time and effort into monitoring, bidding and buying I realized all of this was a waste of my time as the buyer did not want to post to the UK…. No problem but nice if they’d said that prior to me investing time and effort into the bidding and buying process. At least now I know I can pick and choose when and who I sell to in the future.

No assistance on my return case

Ok let me be clear I use to love this app is an eBay copy.. they try to be like the ebay but unfortunately they are not… I buy a pair of shoes Louis Vuitton and they were in bad condition not as described and looks fake from far..I ask for a return..I send the shoes back to the seller I pay $70 extra to return the shoes back and at end the seller does not return my money.. Hi put my on black so I can communicate with him and When I call the customer support of this app from USA to France Paris I pay another $60 for the phone call directly to a customer support service… this is horrible someone just scammed my on there auction Licitaion and they don’t care they don’t offer support, You can not contact team if you do you have to pay is not free and at end they support the seller not use as buyers.. again this person sell my a pair of shoes Louis Vuitton $400+ and I pay another $70 to return back and the seller does not return my money and I have to pay another $60 to call the customer support and at end they don’t tell me nothing clearly or If I get my refunds back. Stay a way this is not a professional platform they really don’t pay attention on your request no customer support nothing.

A go to diversified auction platform.

It’s very good for art, design, jewelry, fashion, etc…
Interface design is clean and functional, very well thought out.
Commission is 9% (2023), I’ve been a steady client for over a year, all my experiences on the platform have been positive.

AVOID- NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT, NEVER DELIVERED

There are better apps to use, like LiveAuctioneers and Invaluable.. I’ve received all the items I’ve ever bought through those sites, but with Catawiki there’s no support and they seem to side with seller’s. AVOID

UPDATE** Still no resolution. Someone from support finally reached out after submitting every kind of request I could, which is very limited as they direct you to pre-written responses which just tell you to wait… and support hasn’t done anything of substance besides let me know they’re going to message the seller…. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. DO NOT BUY UNLESS YOU CAN AFFORD TO BE OUT MONEY AND YOUR PURCHASE!!!!!

Haven’t got my order

I had purchased some clothes and still haven’t received a time when they were getting shipped out I Oder the clothes Monday, April 17 and it took the money off my card but when opening the app it says I didn’t purchase anything I have ss over everything I’m very disappointed with the way the app is running n tried contacting u guys for almost 5 days

Atrocious admin and follow up for Buyers

Catawiki has several "Bugs" within their system that leaves Buyers with all the work and too frequently shattered and broken items delivered in the end. Too many horrible experiences. Tiring system only allows 24 items per page - my God - venue is still in Kindergarten

Great site

I’ve used and bought items from Catawiki for some time now. The low auction fees of 9% are very attractive, compared with other auction sites of up to 24%, or thereabouts. I like the way you know the postal charges too.
