Drop
Have used this app any the scale for about 4 years maybe more. Love the scaleability, increase or decrease a recipe size. Lots of great recipe ideas and I've even made my own recipe. If I had time I would add more just to have them availablelesterwagner

Use this all the time!
I use the Drop scale mainly for weighing food in my recipes. I have marked a lot of my recipes with the weight of items, rather than mess up measuring cups and spoons. I wish the recipes were available offline, as we like to travel in our RV and wifi is not always available everywhere.Loneoak2

Was slow off of the mark to start using Drop, once I did I quickly became to appreciate itbbnnrrd
Drop scale not working for all recipes
The app shows the red drop scale icon next to the ingredient, but clicking on it does nothing. The grey drop scale button is also missing from the bottom of the recipe. This only happens with some recipes, and it is frustrating. Also, why can’t I use the drop scale for all measurements, like I can with Perfect Bake? ...Show lessJohnnerss
Easiest to follow recipe app
I am constantly searching for new recipes and hate the frustration of scrolling through pages of text just to get to instructions. Drop makes this all super easy, and the simple extras like a built in timer all make for a solid UX.Gwolls
Can’t use your own scale without an account!
I’ve been using my scale for years without an account. Suddenly the latest software update requires me to create an account and login! To use a scale! Absolutely ridiculous.
Worse, no matter what email address I input when trying to create an account it says “user already exists!” No fallback mode to use your own hardware. Ugh! No login with Google or some other identity provider. Ugh ugh!
I’m so infuriated that I’m tempted to hack this myself and create my own app for weighing things. Probably not worth the effort when I could just buy a new scale with a digital readout. But tempting. Because of the fury.Show lesspowvans

It seems like you were looking for an app which would allow you to weigh things on the screen of your iPhone, is that correct? I’m sorry to let you know that Apple don’t allow any such apps on the App Store. 3D Touch technology is not very precise, its capacity is limited, and the usability of such a feature would be extremely poor — especially in the kitchen. Drop is always great bc they have a selection of difficulty of recipes. Also they offer a variation that the whole family or just one person can enjoy. VirginiaHirombi
