  • Top bookmarking app

Diigo is probably the best bookmark tool especially for iPhones & iPads. The interface is intuitive and clear.

Why do you need a bookmark tool?

Of course the ability to save favorite bookmarks is the obvious answer but all browsers support that. Why would you want are harder way to save bookmarks? The fact is an awesome feature of iOS is the ability to add to or change the things you can send a favorite to. So if you use Diigo or any other bookmark tool you can make it seamless to use. Another good thing about Diigo is you can sync across all your devices even your computers.

Where bookmark tools excel is by allowing you to organize your bookmarks with tags and grouping. Diigo makes adding tags simple plus it has the ability to "Organize" your stuff. The reason this is a little awkward is probably because they are about saving bookmark, image and note data types. Where this affects you is first in creating the folders. Normally you would be able to pick a folder or add one but Diigo only allows adding folders in the app not when you send to it. The second area Diigo struggles with is organizing the bookmarks in the folders. It would be nice to be able to drag and drop bookmarks into a folder. Also folders should be able to have sub folders.

  • Love it

Doing a masters thesis is hard enough work as it is but this app has already lessened the burden. The ability to download pdf and annotate them in the app is great though I'm having some difficulty accessing the notes for some reason or another hence the four and not five star rating and I hope this bug will be sorted soon!

Otherwise just being able to read and highlight my saved pdfs is a big help as it makes me read things more carefully but also saves time in having to write everyone out which was my dissertation style last year. I'd recommend this to anyone who is writing a thesis that requires a lot of reading and annotating.

  • Great link and info tracker

Have just started to use this app and it is something I have been looking for, for a while, to jog my memory about sites, content and subjects. Super quick way to capture and recall links, content and tag subjects etc. very cool.
  • the update sucks

broke the search function, so now when you try to search with multiple tags it reads as or instead of and. completely unusable now.
  • Organized and accessible bookmarks!

I use this professionally and personally because it's that good. I work across platforms and on many devices and I can save and use my bookmarks on each one. Professionally it's a great repository of knowledge for a group to use and build upon. Personally, I prefer it over Pinterest.
  • Helpful and quick

The Diigo app allows me to save articles and information I come across easily. As well, I am able to highlight important parts and include notes to help me remember my thoughts for a later time.
  • Buggy, Lacking

I appreciate that there IS an app to access my Diigo account, but it needs work. First, it crashes every few minutes of use, just exercising its basic functions. Secondly, it does not support multiple accounts, like if you separate your work and home bookmark accounts. It hides the "Description" field which I really need because that's where I write my summaries for later reference (although you can show this field if you "edit" the bookmark). I tried using the sharing extension in Safari to send a PDF to Diigo, and it simply failed ("unsupported") even though that is an explicitly supported file type. I wish Diigo would get the basics right instead of worrying so much about Annotation and Highlight features.

  • Perfect

I use it with the chrome extension, and it's quite literally everything I ever wanted. I used to use adobe for pdf and nimbus for screenshots etc etc but this handles everything and it's mind blowing+free. Very impressed.
  • Keep improving it

Is super fast, but no Pocket contender for my needs. Saving my spot within articles, saving the article titles, & actually making every page CLEAN.

I will check this app's progress before my Pocket Premium renewal date each year; its Home tab is presently a mess.
  • Rubbish

I'm a paying Diigo user. For now. Stop nagging me to rate this app after I've said no and later already. Let me go straight to the site I've saved.
