  • Best App! Works perfectly!!!

This is literally the best iOS app for controlling Ableton. Only one I’ve tried that works as intended. The layout is also brilliant. It’s definitely worth a lot more than what it costs.

To the designers, thank you so much! This should be getting more attention.
  • Great Potential

I have been looking for a while for an iPad music controller with clip launching capabilities. The only one I have found is Modstep, which is, in my opinion, over complicated. This however looks great. I don’t use Ableton and just want to keep everything on the iPad. This works a treat. It would be good if like Modstep it would host AUv3 or allow for sample clips as well as midi clips. This could be a real iPad contender for an Ableton style workflow. Excellent guys.

Hi, thanks for your review! LK can be used as an AUv3 plugin inside a host like AUM for example, which is a popular choice for our users. Thanks for supporting Imaginando!
  • Now an Auv3!

Just got this app now that it’s an Auv3. I’m super excited about clip launching and midi control within AUM without leaving it’s interface to do so. Looks really promising, I can’t wait to start making tracks without being constrained to a DAW. Thanks Imaginando, your apps are the best, keep the innovation coming!

  • Auv3 clips and piano roll!

They’ve actually done it! A clip launcher and piano roll all in Auv3 format.

A few things could stand to be ironed out slightly for optimal workflow, and hopefully they eventually add midi learn for controller support, but this really does fill a major gap in my setup.

They’re always improving their releases, even the free ones. So I have no doubt that it will only get better from here.

  • Almost there

Great product, even better now that it is auv3, but still needs some major refining. Having a very hard time figuring out how to record directly into a clip using a keyboard, PLEASE release a updated manual or video or something!

  • Doesn’t work with Ableton 10

I tried connecting and everything and i have my iPad plugged in but still says no device connected to ubridge to frustrating to figure this out. And top of all that you gotta pay for everything and unlocking matrix for $8 doesn’t unlock anything else. This app seems fishy sorry.
  • Wow!

So, basically, what Imaginando have done here is bring the Ableton Live workflow to your iPad. LK is an AUv3 clip launcher.

I can’t articulate how huge this is. This is as big a step for iPad music as the introduction of Ableton Link and the advent of the AUv3.

    Thank you, Imaginando!

Thank you Appassin Greed, for supporting us! We're just as excited as you are, for the future of LK, MIDI and AUv3, all playing nicely together. Thanks for your review and sharing the love!
  • Best option for controlling Ableton from iOS.

This is a great app. Nothing like it for controlling Ableton in the intuitive Matrix mode. I’m sure it’s only going to improve! The volume controls are so useful; using it on the iPad mini.
  • Constantly losing connection to my PC and sticking MIDI notes

I like LK but it constantly loses connection to my PC. One minute it will be working and showing my PC under ‘Device’, the next it shows ‘None’ and I have to re-tap ‘Device’ and choose my PC again.

Additionally MIDI notes stick sometimes and the only way to stop them is to go to keyboard view and tap ‘Panic’.

I’m using Windows 10 Pro and controlling soft-synths in Cakewalk.

Hi there, make sure you are using the latest version of UBRIDGE with USB cable connection for the best stability and latency possible.
  • Superior control

Easy connection setup (I use wifi connect) and installation. This app does the job where others (looking at you TouchAble) fail. I can finally sit at my drum set and put down takes without having to lean over/stand up to press record and change scenes. The performance potential is also huge for bringing in other instruments and sounds. Thanks for the sale!!
