Ok until the first boss
Was having a decent time until I got to the first boss in the mines. The boss itself is hard enough (first time around I didn't even see a way to hurt it, and second time I found out how just by accident - there needs to be more of a clue on how to hit it!), but the fact that the last save point is WAY back in the mines, forcing you, if you die vs the boss, to navigate past a slew of fire traps just to get back to the boss (and then the jars of health are all gone as well even if you didn't use them all the first time) is RIDICULOUS. Screw that crap. I'm done.Show lessDeveloper Response
Hi, we're sorry to hear that you were not satisfied with the game. We hope you'll like our other games!Skippable if you wanna play Evoland 2 right away
Played it start to finish and not all that impressed. Evoland 2 is a huge improvement to the original. If you truly want to play the original and experience the early rpg discography like, legend of Zelda, final fantasy and chrono trigger, feel feel to give this game a try. Otherwise skip to the second gameShow lessDeveloper Response
Thank you for your feedback!A Retro RPG Masterpiece!
If you have ever cut every last blade of grass in Hyrule, learned every Moogle dance, raised every Mana Seed to level 8, changed clothes three times to give cider to an old man, or read every gravestone in Arcanum, this game is your crack.
What starts with a brief blunder through monochrome 8-bit animation, grows with the progression of technology and storytelling as you earn “color” and “background music”, and later “monsters” and “side quests”... I think I’m at about 1994 now, and loving every second of it!
Well worth the price of admission. Much less hassle than blowing on cartridges.Show less
