No wonder they need all the advertising...

Seen this app advertised on Instagram and Facebook, decided to give it a go. Says it’s free, but in the first few seconds of using the app you’re basically given the option of paying or paying. No wonder they have terrible reviews. Disgusting.
Edit: funny how the app response is that it’s free. Yeah, getting the app itself is free, but it prompts you to pay as soon as you open the app. Stop lying to your customers!

It’s not free!!

Never used this ap - would not recommend. Startling to get really annoyed at aps that give you a free trial and the automatically switch over to charging you .... a free trail should just end after a month and give you the option to renew and pay. Very sneaky! Especially as it’s then not easy to cancel out of them.

Jesus, they ram it down your throat about premium. I get these apps ain’t free and you don’t mind ads which help pay but pretty much anything you do on this app and your asked if you want the premium version.

Used once and deleted... If I was you, I’d read the reviews and take note. If you’re not going to take the premium, be prepared to be bombarded with requests for the “premium” version.

I have just read the response of the developer and again they are trying to push the premium version... I really would have thought it was obvious, but just in case it isn’t - I DON’T WANT TO TRY THE PREMIUM!!! There’s selling your premium version and pestering people to take it. Apple shouldn’t allow this to happen. I nearly inadvertently clicked on the App Store to buy the premium but the price is extortion...

Take mine and others advice... Don’t even download the piece of crap.

Misleading app

Don’t buy this. So expensive not worth the money. They’ve already taken my money when I haven’t used it as it’s not user friendly. I want to cancel membership so they don’t charge me for next month. Fitbit is way better.

Its not free and you cant try without signing up

This app is misleading. It says its free, but you have to pay monthly. Theres a trial, but to try you need to sign up so it will automatically pay once it finishes. Honestly this is a disgrace, if you lie to your customers now, then that says a lot about your app.

No, I don't want to Try Premium Version!

I have never used an app that pushed their subscription version so aggressively. The "trial premium" pop ups actually blocked all content and cannot be closed. Every option you click ends up with "Try Premium" I didn't even get as far as really trying the app out, after a few minutes of trying to view the instructions through the tiny area not covered by the immovable Premium pop up I decided to give up and find a less "in my face" app instead. There are plenty out there. There is a reason this app has such an awful rating, I hope the developers are paying attention.

**Update**The reply I've received from the developers to my review actually totally reinforces the points I've made! The haven't even made an attempt to address the issue (raised by several other reviews) of the aggressive placements of the ads to go premium. The free version of this app is unusable and the developers don't care!

Bunch of crap!

Ok so I figured the ads were decreased since all the bad reviews and everyone complaining about them but NO! I downloaded the app about 5 minutes ago and I couldn't even get started let alone read any of the suggestions or hints due to the ads taking up most of the page. Everyone was right when you click on the X it just opens the app instead of closing it and to think this could really be a helpful tool for not just me but many others! Shame on you!!

Ok so since the yearly cost is $40 that is too expensive for a walking app just to remove the ads. I don't usually even write reviews let alone respond back to a comment but I am today. I couldn't even use the app long enough to know if I would want to pay the monthly or yearly fee due to all the ads & then for the X to not remove the ad but to open it instead is just ridiculous! Give the users a chance to see if they will like the apps before flooding them with ads...just a suggestion!!

Super disappointed

I was excited to try this app to take my walking to the next level but it is a total letdown for me! I'm a grandma working her way rapidly towards 60 who lives in a small town where the nearest fitness center is 20+ mile away but I have lots of beautiful countryside to walk in. Downloaded the app over the weekend and used it my first day on Monday. Had a little trouble even getting it started as I need my reading glasses for fine print and I don't wear them walking! Finally got it started thru trial and error. Part way thru the walk an ad popped up and I had to shut the app down and restart it to finish the workout. Didn't track me by GPS but figured it was something I had done. Day 2 was good. Day 3 was a rest day. Today was day 4 and again, the ad popped up but I didn't notice it until I was at a point I knew it should have told me to cool down. Now it tells me I still have 20 minutes left to finish my walk and I know I walked about 2 1/2 miles. I know that if u purchaser the upgrade u can get rid of the ads but I'm not doing that! I will be deleting the app and looking for a different one. Very disappointing.

If the app doesn’t track your distance outdoors, please: 1) Tap Settings on your device - Privacy - turn Location services ON and also enable it for this app (choose While using). 2) Tap Start on the main screen in the app - Outdoor mode. Please lock the screen with a special Padlock button (in the left bottom corner) while walking, then the app will work correctly. You can use the app for free with ads or upgrade to Premium to remove all ads from the app and get access to special mixes adjusting to your workout.
