Very poorly designed software
I replaced my old ip camera and I hate this software. My old camera I just opened my app and boom the camera feed starts. With this app I have to open the app then select the camera type then the camera and then it pops up. Dude seriously. The app can't remember which camera I was watching. I only have one camera. Please if the app designer is reading this. Please have the cameras live feed auto start right up when you open up the app WITHOUT having to push any buttons. Very poorly done.

Delete camera causes crash
App crashes every time I try to delete my camera.
Works as well as iPhone App
I don't understand why all the negative reviews. I have one camera in my house. I downloaded the app and went to device manager, add a device, then I just copied all the info in my iPhone under the device manager (hit the pencil button) and it loaded my live feed instantly. It's not dumby proof I understand but the negative reviews aren't warranted, the app works great 😃

Amcrest 5 star awesome app
The best security camera on the market! The app works flawlessly. If you have any trouble at all don't hesitate to call tec support they will quickly solve any problem.

Found the camera images to be very good, but setting up software and replaying images from past dates very cumbersome. Terminology is also difficult to understand with no explanation of what terms mean or how to configure in settings, could not even find some of the words in the internet

App works fine
I'm a 38 y.o. female who can't even figure out how to connect my rabbit ears to my tv and I was able to get my camera connected. Once connected it was difficult to figure out what all the settings were intended to do. There were a lot of acronyms that I didn't know what they meant. I fought the urge to just start pushing buttons. I will have to spend some time on the help pages or google to get it completely set up. So that could be improved. But that is likely an Amcrest issue rather than a web developer issue. Now here's hoping I can bust the landlord sneaking into the house.

Like most Amcrest equipment - awful software
The software on most Amcrest equipment is very poorly designed. You will do a lot of head scratching to get this to work. Support is also very poor, so don't expect a lot of help from their technical group.
Works fine
This app works perfectly fine. The other negative reviews likely have no idea how any of this stuff works. Within 1 minute I had the app configured to access my camera.
