Doesn’t work
Followed all instructions, and app just keeps crashing and doesn’t do what it says it does. It’s out of date and developer hasn’t made improvements. All users should receive a refund. Not a cheap app, for something that doesn’t even work.

Just what I needed!
This App 100% did exactly what it was designed and promised the consumers it would do. At first I had a problem getting it done however after reaching out to the publisher he not only FaceTime me but also text to walk me through the process in its entirety to ensure I was rendered the services in which I paid for.
App saved the texts in multiple formats - PDF, XLS and HTML, as well as puts all attachments in a folder for reference as well.
My mother was ill and I wanted to save my texts over the last several years as a way to record the journey. My phone was so full it wouldn't even take pictures anymore. Transferring photos to my computer did not free up enough memory. This app solved my problem! The text messages, and attachments are now in three user-friendly formats that I can print if I want.
I highly recommend this app to everyone who has an iPhone. I’ve been looking for an app like this for quite some time and am so pleased to have finally found it. It’s very easy to use, works perfectly and the developer is very helpful and quick to respond to questions.

It works (but not well)
Does what it claims (sort of). It would appear to use voice recognition to transcribe the text thou for the life of me I don’t see why it would, resulting in many misspellings. It’s also very cumbersome to use, involving first backing up to a local computer using iTunes, then using the app to look for individual text conversations, converting these to an excel format (if you go for pdf or a photo, you loose the ability to put the texts in chronological order as they DONT convert in chronological), then go into excel & format them to fit a std page (hope you’re semi conversant with excel) as you need to first sort, format all cells for auto height & width, then manually adjust certain rows to eliminate 1-4 lines of blank space that seem to show at the top of 15-20% of random cells.
All that being said, it does work & for the price is MUCH better and faster than apples method of screen shots, scanning the photo, assembling the scans into one document and still NOT having dates & times
Would I buy it again? Yes! Would I get something more user friendly & pay again? Yes

Our App always export each message conversation in chronological order by default and export as PDF, XLS(excel) and HTML. Excel is always pre formatted to A4 size page print friendly format by default. Please raise a support ticket with correct contact details through website www.backupsms.weebly.com if you are having any difficulty in using our app.
Do not recommend.

Great idea & app
I needed to print out some text messages from my iPhone and the run around from my phone carrier was such a headache. My wife found this app online, I immediately checked it out, and I’m very grateful for this developer.
I needed the text messages to prove my innocence in a court case. They’re printed out so perfectly and every word from both threads in the conversation. It really helped me out not just in my case, but financially without the lawyer charging me more crazy fees.
The developer helped me out along the way when I got a little confused, and he was awesome. Thank you.

Developer Personally reached out and helped me since I had an issue (older computer).
I see why some might say this is annoying, but honestly it works great for me. Totally worth the money.
I downloaded this after seeing great and terrible reviews. For the price I figured it would be worth trying. It was confusing to get working at first, but customer support reached out quickly and was able to help me get this up and running. I didn’t know I had to backup the phone after downloading the app.
It’s actually faster than other software I’ve used for this.
You do not need to put in your Mac Id/username/password. Basically just download the app to your phone, backup phone to computer, download app on computer, then you’re good to go.
It doesn’t export text in a very aesthetic way, but it gets the job done relatively quickly and doesn’t take up too much space. Attachments are stored in a separate folder but they’re time stamped so it’s actually pretty helpful.
Overall for the money it’s a steal. I’d recommend trying this before spending $30+ on one of the more expensive ones.

Zero stars
Refunds should be issued to anyone that purchased it - irrespective of timeframe. App should then be deleted to save everyone the hassle of buying and trying over and over again when the app that does not work.
Excellent Utility
Was very frustrated not being able to download messages from iPhone. Purchasing and downloading “Export Messages” took only seconds. The instructions were clear, concise, and complete, but didn’t work for me. Emailed tech support. Got a text message back within 24 hours. And the Customer Service Representative (CSR) lead me through the download and save process. The final result presents cleanly the sequence of texts, the number, time/date, and the text of the message in a format that is intuitively obvious and eye-appealing. As a result, having documented the terms of a financial agreement in the text, I can forward to my legal team for further action as may be required. Satisfies my every intent. Well Done!

Very pleased
I am an iPhone 8 Plus user and I was looking for an app to allow me to print a text message thread for legal purposes with phone numbers displayed and time stamps. I had some difficulty in the beginning as you need to download the app to your pc, back up your phone using iTunes to the pc your using in order to access your files. I was using windows 10 and haven’t used my laptop in years, I must say I messaged the developer expressing my difficulties using the app and given an 11 hour time difference between us, the developer contacted me and was readily available to assist. Luckily with some help from a friend and a different laptop I was able to figure everything out, my issue was mostly caused by an outdated laptop. Definitely recommend this app!

A God Send
For months I’ve been trying to manually save my text because they have notes for my books in them. It was so tedious and painstakingly slow the further back I went. Trying to find a solution of sorts, I googled it there were alternatives. I researched many products, but this one stuck out the most due to simplicity and ease. There was minor troubleshooting, but it was exactly what I was looking for. All of my texts are saved back to the very beginning and it just saved me so much time and energy—I wished I would’ve found it sooner!
