  • Amazing app for learning synths..

All I have to say is more please. Serum and massive lessons are awesome. I’m hoping more expansion with other synths. There is not a app like this anywhere in the App Store. Thanks, keep up the great work..
  • Just lovely!

Great app for synth beginners 😍
  • AMAZING

This is an absolutely ASTOUNDING app and FANTASTIC way to learn analog synthesis programming.

I can it recommend this app enough. If you only get one learning tool on your journey, make sure this one is it.
  • Stop reading and start doing

I am halfway through this course and the hands on nature makes all the difference. If you want to actually build the skill of sound design then Syntorial have done a fantastic job.
  • Mr

Outstanding synth tutorial app, both in its free and paid for versions. The quality is top notch and the style of learning is so well planned out. I have used it both personally and for teaching high school students, who have loved the individual pacing the app offers.
  • The Starting Point for Your Synth Journey

This software is all you need to get started, and acquire valuable skills along the way, on learning how to program and enjoy playing synths. This is not a theoretical course, it is a training program to develop your intuition. Very worthy of its price. A teacher would charge 5x the price for what you learn in this course.

  • This is amazing

If you’re serious about learning synthesis this is the BEST resources. This is a companion app to their main software. There aren’t any surprise fees unless you didn’t do you research. The app is stable, easy to use and the videos are incredible. Fantastic resource for practicing synthesis for electronic music.

  • Practical and dense

I just started learning about synthesizers after purchasing an iPad and a couple of soft synths. However, without Syntorial it would have been really difficult to make effective use of these tools. The from the ground up training is really good and the exercises help to internalize all of the material.

    Give it a shot!

  • Superb!

As an electronics research and design engineer who has an extensive understanding of audio or sonics in general, it’s never been much help in creating a sound other than choosing the right wave to build upon, the fundamental frequency. A sine wave will give a smooth tone ideal for wind instruments, the sawtooth is good for lead sounds as it literally does seem to cut through everything with its rasp harshness.
However, it’s never really helped me program authentic patches, I’ve decided it’s an art in it’s own right, and this App is by far the best tutorial I’ve ever seen. It’s brilliant, and whilst the Devs will have needed a far greater understanding of using the building blocks and exploiting harmonics whilst defying the laws of physics is a credit to them - a lot of hard work has gone into this and it’s taken me back onto the road of patch creating. Otherwise you just sound like everyone else who has the same hardware or soft-synths; everyone needs their own ‘sound’ - it’s your signature and one people will pick up on and instantly know “it’s you” playing. If that’s your goal. Other than that it’s a lot of geeky fun.
    Brilliantly done, and long overdue.
