Incredible (2 years later)
I downloaded this app 2 years ago during my philosophy degree and forgot about it. I’ve just returned to it, 2 years later, and I am amazed by its depth of resources. For those doing a degree in philosophy it will probably only serve as a tool for surface-level exposition or a starting point for further research. But for those who are just encountering or revisiting the subject, it is an incomparable resource.
I especially like the ideas section which allows you to draw comparisons and detect conflict with ideas from other thinkers.

PLEASE UPDATE
I’ve enjoyed this app—with its easy-to-use, detailed interface, iMessage stickers, and “philosopher” camera—for almost two years, but I really wish it were updated for the latest OS and devices… specifically, the widgets. Having the widget only on the search screen on iPhone and sidebar on iPad is nice, but implementing the new home screen widgets would be more useful.
Also, there’s a bug on iPad where if you are in landscape mode while taking the quiz, the names are hidden behind the photos.
Sadly, the fact that this app hasn’t updated in over two years makes me feel that the developer has abandoned it.

i am a very passionate philosophy student and this app is genuinely my favourite thing to ever exist!!!! it’s perfect!!! and free!!! it’s so engaging and set out so well and is so clever!!! cannot wait to share it with my teacher and class!!!
Amazing
I never really write reviews for apps but this one is quite amazing. If you ever wanted to learn about philosophy... or actually learn about the world and its inner workings this is the app!
Fantastic
If you are a fan of Philosophy this is a pretty great app and an easy recommendation. It’s free, not full of adverts, easy to navigate, and very interesting. Love the inspiration taken from Twitter and how that can be translated to philosophical concepts and relationships. Clearly a big passion project of whoever created it. Respect.

Possibly the most important app available.
Philosophy is important and this gives anyone with an interest, whose heard the name Plato, a way to gloss over what He wrote about and thought- it gives any passerby a window into this world in an inviting way. You have done the nigh impossible and given everyone an aggregated way to download philosophy.

Philosophers
With so many ‘self help’ and similar apps trying to do clever things for their users and charging a small fortune for this service, this app offers a simple, powerful alternative. It offers access to a treasure of wonderful insights and perspectives. There’s help here, and in spades, but the app allows the user to mine for it. To make connections, explore profound ideas and challenge their own assumptions. This doesn’t spoon feed sticky sweet self help in predigested and too-simple solutions. It helps the user to grapple, sweat and win understanding in the battlefield of their life.

Fantastic resource
Love this app. No faults so far!
Holding back tears.
This app is incredible. I lament that I have undergone a decade of formal education without such an app at my disposal. The interface, the content, the format, the fun - I am, simply, enamoured.
I doubt that a day of my life will pass wherein I do not cast a cartoon Camus upon my cheeks, dance through the depths of Descartes, or parade the papers of Parmenides with this app in hand.
To the app’s creators, you have my undying admiration. You are a true champion of education and the righteous victor of my heart.
Friends, if you are concerned that my review is tainted with hyperbole, I urge you to download the app and discover the wonder that lies within.

Only thing I’ll ever review
Absolutely amazing. If you like philosophy in any way, experienced or beginning, 100% get this app. I haven’t loved anything more in a very long time
