Not great

There are better wellness apps out there. Every time you want to update something, you have to sign in which is a pain.

Also, it often requires you to post your blood pressure in order to record meals, mood, etc. So unless you’ve suffered a heart attack previously, I do not think you have a blood pressure machine at home.

Clunky and some of their health and diet recommendations are dated. I get far better info from certain sources on IG and online.

Was great, but....

This app was a great companion to my other health & fitness apps to keep track of a greasy deal of health info, but now will not even open on my phone!
That’s very disappointing since I have past information in the app. I think I’ll have to delete and start over!!!

Easy way to start

For those who like to mark progress daily this is an easy way to get motivated. Not the real age score you hoped for? That’s ok there is away to improve. With a few small daily changes you’ll see the difference. Keep at it. My real age score was a year older. I honestly thought I’d get at least 5 years younger. Lol. That’s ok it motivated me to make the the changes required to get me to 4 years younger. It took time but it was a good journey, now I’m hooked on Sharecare. Take a chance.

Stressful app -

where are my rewards - gone again - and who spent the ones I had - this has happened before and took over a month to get everything back - I could be exercising instead of spending time with so-called customer support. I wonder if they will ever fix this thing. In the mean time BCBS is wasting our premium money on this thing when they should be lowering our premiums. The folks that are really get taken are the ones that haven’t the technology to participate. BCBS really didn’t appear to care when asked that question. Where does health care fit in to all this???

Not really impressed

Started using this because BCBS is rewarding based on activity level through the month instead of gym visits. I was surprised that you can literally only enter steps though. BCBS has a whole conversion chart for a wide variety of activities into steps per minute, but every time I want to enter something that’s not walking or running, I have to pull up the chart, plug everything into the calculator, and stick the resulting steps into the app, and manually add multiple things if I do different activities in the same day. Encouraging walking is great for non active people trying to make a change, but for those of us who are active it’s a pain to enter the different activities we do. It would not be hard to have a drop down with alternate activities and a duration entry within the app itself to do the calculation and add to the step count, and would make it easier for active people to use the app.

Also, app has been taking several minutes to open? I’m not sure if it just hangs more often than not, but I usually have to try several times before it eventually opens. No app should take 5+ minutes just to open, my phone has gone idle before it ever come a up.

Mostly great......but

This app can track so much of your health data and that is absolutely great because it makes you aware. I do find it lacking with long term tracking and showing you where you were and where you are now. My original real age and my current real age tell me to lose weight, but what it doesn’t take into account is that I have lost over 20% of my body weight. Still just tells me I am overweight and should consider a diet plan. Small things like that could make this app the one to have.

Why can’t I turn off things?

I want to like this app but I think it’s ridiculous that I have to put in my blood pressure, glucose, cholesterol, and smoking habits every day to get a green. I’m not diabetic or a smoker and I don’t get my blood pressure or cholesterol checked unless I go to a doctor and I’m always in the normal zone. Please put a “no data” option in for the glucose, pressure, and cholesterol. And please give us the option to turn off smoking or alcohol check ins if we don’t smoke or drink. Otherwise it is impossible to get a Green Day.

And please make it so Apple watches sync up to it too. Not everyone has or likes Fitbits. If these changes aren’t made I’ll probably drop out of the BCBC Sharecare program.

Awesome app to encourage healthy living

This app is a gem of a find where not only I can track my health progress and but also I got a huge compilation of articles, videos, and other contents about heath related topics to encourage a healthy lifestyle! Kudos to the team who thoughtfully compiled and developed features to help me take care of my heathy living.
