Each to their own...
For months I have been seeking & trying different apps and looking at ways in which I can integrate all my 2 iPhones and iPad into my Mac Mini. Without really knowing what is was I was looking for initially, when I found this app some reviews put me off buying. But after a few beers and class A's, I bought the app and struggled for a week or so to get my head round it. But now... I understand how this app works.. everything just works so brilliantly!
Yeh sure it may crash now n again but no where near enough to make me angry or throw my toys out. In fact the more I get used to this app, the less it now crashes. The apps on my idevices are brilliant, SynthMaster, Poison-202 l, NanoStudio etc and I just plain refuse to buy the Mac version of these plugins. Studiomux allows me to run all my iPhone/iPad synths into my favourite daws like Logic Pro x and Korg Gadget for Mac. I use 2 channels, 1 x for midi data and the other for audio recording in Logic (still experimenting with gadget). Now that I've found what I was subconsciously looking for and trying to achieve, I can actually just crack on and make music instead of experimenting with what initially scrambled my brain.
All the above is because my iPhone 6 couldn't cope with amount of synths and apps I was trying pump thru it. I wanted all my idevices to share the load... have a chinwag with each other and then work in perfect harmony. Thanks StudiomuxShow lessBarron Von Titty

To the reviewer who stated he kept getting audio bus software not installed: you need to click on the add plug-in button at the top of the screen. I had the same issue until I figured it out.
I am going to rate this app four stars even though it keeps crashing on me. I have two synth apps installed on my iPad. Ripplemaker and Animoog. Ripplemaker is way more stable than Animoog which crashes the Studiomux app very often.
Studiomux is the app that I've been waiting for. It's awesome to be able to interface your iPad with your DAW with no additional hardware needed. I think that once they get all the bugs ironed out, this is going to be a great piece of software. I'm looking forward to future updates.Show lessPad addict
Great app!
For whatever reason the app seems to only recognize if Audiobus 2 is installed. When I click the AB button it says, "Audiobus is not installed. Please get it on the App Store."
Can you guys please fix this?

Terrible, clunky with no informational support
I've gotten this app to work ONCE for me. The "manual" they supply is horrible and it's completely devoid of any information about the basic midi out port functions. All I needed was a slick app that gave my Pro Tools rig a few pads and keyboard keys. Do Not Buy. They don't support an industry standard.Show lessMarkdriv

Developers don't respond to emails.
Manual is garbage.

If I'd have read who the developer was I wouldn't have purchased. I know from their other apps there's absolutely zero support! App runs on device, server runs on PC but VST causes complete and catastrophic crash of DAW: I've tried it in 2 different ones. I've also tried it with my usual, rock solid ASIO drivers and also ASIO4ALL to rule that out. No joy, it doesn't work, complete waste of my time: 3 hours so far. Worth every penny
Once I got this working, it has been awesome. My budget is small for recording equipment and this software maximized every dollar of mine.
I now have IOS Cyclop synth and Bias guitar effects working as plugins on my desktop DAW for a tenth of the price of what they cost for OSX versions. What a gift.

Garbage - does not work in ios 10 / Sierra
This app does not work at all now. Before it was tedious and time consuming to set up now it is completely useless . Will try and demand a refund.Dr_Appenstein
