Great

Best app in the App Store love it

Response from developer

Thank you so much, this means a lot

New episodes aren’t being tracked.

Is this app even supported anymore?

Response from developer

Hey there, I believe this issue has been fixed in the latest update. Could you give it a try and let me know if the app is working better for you? Best, Maximilian Litteral

Love it on iOS/iPadOS, but Mac version needs a simple but critical fix

I use this app daily on my iPhone and iPad and love it. However, the Mac version has a critical bug: it lacks the ability to sort episodes in the Watchlist, unlike its iOS/iPadOS counterparts. This makes the Mac app much less useful.

I've tried contacting support several times but received no response. I'm hoping this review gets your attention, developers. A fix would make the Mac experience as great as it is on iOS/iPadOS, and I'd be glad to update my review to reflect this improvement.

Thanks!

Hey Jeffrey, this feature has been added in a recent update. When viewing the Shows, To Watch, or Archived tabs you can sort shows by going to the menu bar > View > Sort by. Please let me know if this works for you. Best, Maximilian Litteral

Gold Standard TV Tracking App 🥇

Update: Thank you for the 2 column layout on iPad. Looks great! 🙌🏼

I’ve been trying all of the free TV tracking apps, but none of them hit all the marks. I pulled the trigger to purchase this app and give it a try… and so glad I did! Really great app guys! Love: the overall interface, grid view option, and the clear countdown on when the next showing will be, ease of checking off a watched show, no troubles finding any show I’ve searched for, no bugs so far, great Discover section broken up into streaming services, etc… and really like the “anticipated” suggestions for something new, and it looks great on my iPad (which I tend to use more in this case).

Badge app icon

Hello enjoying the app, transitioning over from iTV shows, I can’t get the badge app icon to work? Neither Television Time nor TV time show up in the list of apps in the notification section of the settings app, maybe that’s part of the problem?

Love it

This was a welcome breath of fresh air after switching from another supposed “Letterboxd but for TV” app, that felt clunky and un-intuitive (and trapped users in with no data export options!). Television Time is both easy to use and well-designed and it is a pleasure to come across an app that does it simply and right, without feature-bloat, without poor UX. Only thing it lacks is a web app, but with a native MacOS app that isn’t a huge dealbreaker (occasional crashes— hope that’s ironed out soon!). Thank you.

Thank you for the kind review! I'll take a look at the crashes and try to get those fixed. Feel free to reach out anytime if you have any suggestions as well, I'm always looking to improve the app.

Please Change it Back!

Hate these latest improvements. Way less user friendly.

Still a great app.🤷🏼‍♂️

Response from developer

Hello, could you reach out through the app / email and let me know what has become less user-friendly? I always strive to make a better app but sometimes I miss the mark. I need a little more information so I can try and get it right. My email is support@televisiontime.app, or in the app you can open Settings > Send Feedback (near the bottom). Thank you!

New changes not so good

I love this app and the way it works, I’ve used it every single day for years. My only flaw with it is that I’m not too keen on the new design changes, if a show isn’t selected there’s all this dead space on the right hand side in horizontal viewing mode. I don’t necessarily ever select any shows ever so this dead space is pretty much all I see. I’ve voted this 3 stars only because of this. If you (the developer) can do anything about this then straight back to 5 stars.

Thanks for all your hard work making this!

Hi there, It is in my todo list to add a grid style layout that you may like better and will display the full poster of each show. Also, in a newer update I have added support for selecting which tab the app opens up to. I'm open to adding more information in the To-Watch screen, or adding a setting to pick what you see, but it is currently not in the plans anytime soon. I'll add it to my todo list and think about what I want to do in the future with this. Best, Maximilian Litteral

Cannot see episodes

App got updated to 2.0 yesterday and now there is no way to see an episode list for an individual show. Is this a way to force me to purchase a subscription? I have been using this app for years and have been very happy with it.

Update. Developer contacted me and explained how to see what I was looking for. All good :-)

Hey James, the list of episodes are still available in the app, and do not cost extra or require a subscription. The iPhone app hasn't changed, so I assume you're talking about the iPad update. Tapping on a series from the Shows / Archive tabs will open the list of episodes in the center column. From the To Watch screen tapping on a show will open the episode details. To view all episodes from To Watch long-press on a series, tap "Show Actions" then "View all episodes". If you're using the list layout you can also swipe to the right to present all episodes faster. Could you send me an email about which screen you were trying to access episodes from an it wasn't working as before? The app does look a little different but episodes should always be accessible in the same way they were before.
