Works OK. No audio alerts

Overall the app is OK. However, it is baffling that an app like this would not offer audio alerts.

Failed Access panel communication failure

Anybody else getting this alert at random times throughout the day? Sounds like the access panel doesn’t communicate with their servers at times. When that happens people get a failed message and are not able to get the doors to unlock. Usually the problem goes away in a matter of a minute or two, but that is a long time when you’re standing outside a door unable to get in.

The update is MUCH better.

Granted the mobile app has limited functionality compared to the web UI, the mobile app update it leaps and bounds better than its predecessor. The drop down menu makes it easy to locate a campus rather than the poorly designed swipe method (which always started at “A”) previously in place.

I do agree, the admin should be able to see the PIN. A few other features would be great for the next update, but this is far better than it was.

Brivo Access Update

The Brivo Access update is terrible. Can no longer see the state of lock or unlock without actually clicking on the door. This is a pain. The app was redone to remove colors and icons which makes it more difficult to distinguish fields. It’s hard to know why these changes were made. 🤬

Most Recent IPhone Update made killed important feature

Lost ability to see actual pins as admin in most recent update. Was one of the features that we used daily to verify codes when needed on the fly.

New update is terrible

If you can avoid the new update, do so.

Poor performance

Signs me out constantly even though I’ve selected the option to keep me signed in. App won’t refresh on its own and I have to constantly close it out and reopen the app to get it to refresh.

App is horrible to navigate.

While the app inherently does what is required, it is horribly designed with regard to its User Interface.

As of this writing (July ‘23), having multiple sites, you must swipe through every site to get to a site that is alphabetically later in the series. If that weren’t bad enough, every time you reopen the app, you start at the beginning of the series alphabetically.

Being able to scroll through a list of sites FIRST, then selecting the site revealing it’s access points and events would resolve both issues while being a much more user friendly interface.

Presently, the UI alone makes it a 1 star app.

Doesn’t work with watch

I upgraded our offices from Doorbird. This app does not send alerts to your apple watch. So if you don’t have your phone on you, you don’t know someone is at the door.

Needs a lot of improvement

Takes forever to sign in and sometimes won’t sign in, plus it’ll kick you out of it, so then it takes forever again to sign back in. Inconvenient
